The Cow Shed @ Atlow Mill
The Cow Shed @ Atlow Mill is a hidden gem, recently converted from an old cow shed. Behind the agricultural façade is a luxury interior with high ceilings, lots of light and a modern rustic feel. It offers 4 spacious, ensuite bedrooms sleeping 8 people, all available either with a super-king bed or two single beds, a large open plan living space with log burner and smart TV, indoor games room and a private garden with a gas BBQ, 7 person hot tub and wood fired pizza oven. It is surrounded by rolling hills, a pretty brook and secluded woodland, and The Red Lion pub is just half an hourâs walk away.
Main Living Area - with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and lots of industrial character. At one end of the large open plan space the lounge area comfortably seats 8 people and has a log burner and smart TV, with complimentary Netflix, for cosy evenings in. The dining area also easily seats 8 people and the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for cooking up a feast including two ovens and an induction hob, full height fridge-freezer and wine cooler for supplies, plus a breakfast bar for casual dining.
Games Room â just off the living area and complete with everything you need for some old-school family fun: table tennis (medium sized table), table football, board games and children's books. Thereâs also a king-sized sofa bed (set up by prior arrangement only) plus a large smart TV with complimentary Netflix, a DVD player with a selection of children's films, and comfy bean bags for movie nights.

Utility area â with washing machine, tumble dryer and additional full height fridge, plus separate downstairs toilet.
Four spacious bedrooms â all of which can be configured with either 1 x super-king sized bed or 2 x single beds (single beds by prior request) and each with their own en-suite with walk-in shower.
Outside space - The Cow Shed has its own large, private patio and garden area, complete with outside dining for 8 people, a gas BBQ and a wood fired pizza oven for perfect evenings outside. (Pizza oven and BBQ available April â October). There is also a 7 person private hot tub for relaxing in. It has a pergola to protect you from the Great British weather and we provide towels and plastic glasses. All you need to bring is your swimwear and flip flops.
Beyond the private garden, guests are welcome to explore the shared play area, the woodland and stream and make use of the public footpath that passes the property.
Other details to note:
There is a dedicated parking area for up to 4 cars in the yard immediately outside the Cow Shed.
We have two Pod Point charging points on site for electric or hybrid vehicles. There is a nominal charge, payable at the end of your stay, for using them.
The hot tub is thoroughly cleaned between each stay, this means it may not be available immediately on arrival, or on the morning you leave, if we have same-day turnarounds either side of your trip.
There is good (free) WiFi throughout the property, but no mobile signal in the area.
A generous basket of logs is included in your booking for use in the log burner and pizza oven, further logs can be purchased if required during your stay. Gas for the BBQ is also included.
Henmore Brook runs along one side of the property. It is easily accessible from many parts of the site and is unsupervised. It is mostly shallow, and great for paddling, but there are two areas of deeper water (c.4ft deep).
