Further afield take a trip to the golden, sandy beaches at Lunan Bay or the spectacular coastal nature reserve at St Cyrus. The stunning red sandstone cliffs at Auchmithie are also worth seeing and you can even take a boat trip to the Bell Rock lighthouse, built by Robert Stevenson.There are several golf courses within easy reach such as the famous links at Carnoustie and many other sports opportunities including sea-kayaking and sailing.Public transport links are good with the main bus and rail stations less than a mile from the property with easy connections to all the major Scottish cities.
