Overall the stay was good. It was the perfect amount of space for me and my family. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We were pretty close to grocery stores and parks as well. The place is a bit dated but has plenty of beds. We had issues with the internet but that was fixed after two days. Overall the place is clean but there were quite a few bugs throughout the stay, especially ants. We also had a snake come onto the back porch, but since there is a lake in the back yard it’s probably par for the course. Again, overall the place is nice and the owner was okay with communications we stayed like 10 days and the value and size were really nice compared to what we would’ve paid at like a hotel.

Great Golf Holiday base

The property has 5 bedrooms all of very good size with two living areas and a dining room giving plenty of space for family. High ceilings really add to the feel of space.he area is great for outdoor exercise, close to several golfing options with grocery store within 2 miles. The house had all the basic needed to settle in. The property was clean and tidy just needs a bit of a refresh. I would definitely stay here again.

No frills accommodations in a nice neighborhood

If you need a lot of beds at a fair price in a good area in central Florida this is a great pick for you! There were actually MORE beds than had been advertised (real beds, not air mattresses) which was a very nice surprise. There's a full kitchen, but bring your own supplies because the kitchen is not stocked with tools or staples. And bring drinking water, when we checked in we alerted mgmt that the filter warning light was on on the fridge, and it didn't get changed during the week we were there. And be careful when you pack up because the kitchen needs a regular exterminator service. But the beds were plentiful and the neigh or hood was quiet and centrally located.

Sand Crane Paradise

Property was well designed for guest privacy. Landscaping was well maintained and the wildlife in and around the backyard pond was entertaining. We had Sand Cranes visit us everyday. Inside was a little tired. Needs some general upkeep and cleaning, i.e. baseboards very dusty, walls in need of painting refresh, cobwebs in corners, some blinds not in working order. Carpets dirty and stained. There was only one set of king sheets for master bed and very few kitchen utensils. Would suggest that if you have a large party occupying the house that you request additional towels, washcloths, kitchen ware and eating utensils. There is only one television. It would have been nice to have addition TVs in bedrooms. Owner very involved and responsive. If you are in need of anything, he will tend to it quickly. No written instructions for the DVR and sound system so we did not use them. This is certainly not a Premier Host property but is very servicible if you are visiting Central Florida and need a basic home for an entire family. Although the immediate area was at one time occupied by a golf course, that is no longer the case. There is no golf course. Property description needs revision. This is not a new home, as described.

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our stay at this property however it was a little far from the conveniences that we needed. The home is well maintained and spacious. I would recommend to others if they needed to be near Apopka.

Spacious and Spotless

This is one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. The Property Manager was more than kind. The home exceeded our expectations. We had three families staying on short notice for a family funeral. The layout was perfect. It was a surprise to find 2 extra twin beds in what could have been a 5th bedroom (no closet). I wasn’t sure about the layout so for future guest here it is as of Jan 2019. On the right side of the house is the master suite and master bath which are huge. The Master has a king bed, 2 large closets, 2 vanities, a double walk in shower. The master is beautifully decorated. The middle of the house has a sitting room with two sofas that leads through into the family room and kitchen. The family room/kitchen area is large with two large sofas and a nice size table for dining. The kitchen is large and has an island. The kitchen is spotless. Through the left of the kitchen through a small hallway are two bedrooms and a bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and is also nicely decorated. The 3rd bedroom has two twins and is decorated nicely as well. There is a nice size bathroom between the two bedrooms. It is not a true Jack and Jill as the entrance to the bathroom is in the hallway, not through the bedrooms. The hallway is somewhat private. The 4th bedroom described as a Cabana is through the far side of the family room. There is a small bathroom that can be accessed and seen from the end of the family room. The 4th bedroom has a queen bed. Once again it is decorated nicely. The bathroom does not have a private entrance into the bedroom but is adjacent to it. The biggest surprise was when you enter the home to the right was what could be a study that instead has two twin beds. There is 1 king, 2 queens, and 2 twins for a total of 7 beds. You could easily sleep 10 in this house comfortably. There is a large dining room as you enter as well as a table in the kitchen/family room. The lanai was spotless and the furniture was nice. There is a beautiful pond. The home is on a cul de sac in a very beautiful neighborhood. Our family was so pleased. The home was more than expected. There are a few downsides with the faux leather couch that has been covered but is “shedding” and the kitchen had a small amount of flatware & glasses. There was only 1 tv but that was not an issue for our family.

I had to thank Burnett Preddie so much for replying in such short notice. You saved my life, the house i rented cancel my reservation last minute (it was two days before my family came and it's sprink break weekend, there is no way I can find a place in such short time) Thank goodness I found Burnett Preddie house last minute and she accepted my request right away, I was saved. I was kind of iffy but I had to, but then when I checked in the house was beautiful, very clean, roomy, neighborhood was beautiful and quiet, the only thing is the couch, the leather kept peeling off, other than that my family loved it, we would deffinitely came back.

The house was comfortable for our group of eight.

The manager was quick to supply necessary items that were missing. To be a more comfortable and homey atmosphere, some overall decorating needs to be done. It would be nice if the kitchen was stocked with some basics such as salt. It would also be great to have some games and movies for family activities.

House is lovely- Owner is unappreciative

This house is exactly as it is represented in the photos. We rented the house for an entire month. We have rented approx 10 homes through VRBO each year for the past 3 years so we have alot of experience to draw from-- some owners make guests feel welcome and appreciated, but this owner does not once he has the payment for your stay. I wasn't going to write any review until I found out he was keeping one-fourth of our security deposit. We first arrived late at night, and all the fire detectors were chirping. The owner had the maintenance person come to replace the batteries, but that person only brought a 4ft ladder which wasn't tall enough to reach the ceilings. Going in the garage is off limits for guests, so they didn't want us in there to see about getting an adequate ladder. The guy finally replaced the ones he believed were chirping but not all of them; he left, and then 5 minutes later another alarm started chirping. The owner told us it was too late at night for the man to come back again and it wasn't a big deal to sleep with chirping for one night. Great. Additionally, there were signs posted in the house for what they did not want guests to do which adds to the unwelcome vibe. We were a group of 4 men there performing the cleanup for Apopka following Hurricane Irma. We only stayed 3 weeks of our 4 week rental, but the owner still kept part of the security deposit because a vehicle dripped oil in the driveway. In contrast, we rented another house for one month in Apopka (from Vicky) where the owner of the property was so gracious. She put drinks in the refrigerator as a welcome. She even offered for us to reserve her house at a later date to use our unused days.

Very clean and spacious and beautiful!!!

Our experience was great. The owner was fast to respond to any questions. The home is amazing. The beds are comfortable. 3 full baths make it extra nice. It really is new and clean. Will definitely rent it again!
