Pleasant villa in a good location

This is a pleasant villa though some of its decoration and fixtures are in need of refurbishment. For two couples of a certain vintage this was fine, the village is welcoming and Maddy's splendid taverna kept us very well fed but it would have been a struggle to cook for ourselves on a very antiquated electric cooker with solid rings and a rather sparse supply of cooking utensils. Although the villa is advertised as ok for 7 the other 3 would have had a problem in finding places at the table in the garden. It's really a good villa for 4 people and much better in terms of its outside provision than its internal. One point that anyone with a small child should certainly note is that the pool, which was great (if rather chilly) for us is all very deep - between 1.8 and 1.85 metres throughout - so certainly not suitable for young children and it isn't fenced. With some refurbishment and re-equipping this would be an excellent villa and we certainly enjoyed staying in the area.

Schöner Blick in die Berge

Die Unterkunft hat uns insgesamt so mittelmĂ€ĂŸig gut gefallen. Die Unterkunft wird von einer Agentur verwaltet, dies ist nach unseren Erfahrungen immer nicht ganz so liebevoll, wie privat vermietete UnterkĂŒnfte. So gibt es kein kleines Willkommensgeschenk mit lokalen Produkten. Nicht einmal eine Flasche Wasser war da. Das Haus ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und der EigentĂŒmer legt offensichtlich keinen Wert auf kleine Investitionen. Die KĂŒche ist nur mit dem Notwendigsten ausgestattet. Der Herd ist sehr alt und funktioniert nicht immer. Die RollĂ€den vor den Fenstern sind fast alle defekt und insgesamt macht das Haus den Eindruck, als ob es nicht besonders gepflegt ist. Die Matratzen sind alle komplett durchgelegen. Du spĂŒrst die Federn. Die sind wirklich alt und mĂŒssten dringend getauscht werden. Der Pool ist super und der Ausblick in die Berge mega. Zu Fuß ist man schnell bei einem kleinen Supermarkt oder einer Taverne. Es gibt mehrere niedliche Katzen, dass fanden unsere Kinder toll. Insgesamt war es OK. Wir hatten schon deutlich liebevoller ausgestattete HĂ€user. Aber es war sehr preiswert.

Wundervoller Urlaub

Das haus und die Lage ist top. Im Vorfeld ist alles organisiert worden und es verlief super. Die Kommunikation mit den Hausherren war ohne Probleme. Selten einen Urlaub gehabt wo alles so gut lĂ€uft und man erholt ist. Wir werden wieder kommen. Vielen Dank fĂŒr alles

I also booked a villa in Rethymno last year through this company. This years vacation in the Villa Kefalas was spectacular, with absolutely no issues. It was spotlessly clean & well presented. I found Agni to be extremely helpful & they gave us lots of useful information & contact numbers for the local area. Looking forward to booking with them again for next year.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed in one of your villas thanks. Lovely terrace area with swimming pool plenty of seating whilst the dining terrace was well planned out by remaining in the shade. Free wifi, air-con, well-equipped kitchen and very friendly service by Agni-travel. Villa Kefalas really is a great holiday location and I cant recommend it enough.

The very helpful and courteous staff at Agni Travel. It all paid off. The villa itself has everything you need for your holiday. I cant praise the Agni team enough, we have been renting villas privately for a number of years and I can honestly say the service and backup we received from Agni Travel was the best we have ever come across, especially the directions with photographs from the airport to the villa so simple but invaluable when trying to find a villa in a quiet location.

Wir hatten 2 wunderschone Wochen in Kefalas! Das Haus war ein Traum, die Betreuung durch die Reinigungsfrau war super. Wir brauchten einmal Hilfe, die am nachsten Tag schon kam. Schneller geht es nicht. Die Organisation durch AgniTravel lieSs keine WĂŒnsche offen. Jede Anfrage wurde sehr freundlich umgehend beantwortet. Auch das geht nicht besser. Vielen Dank dafĂŒr!

Great Holiday, just what the Doctor Ordered! Kefalas is a lovely little village way out of the main towns and hustle and bustle of everyday life you definitely needed a car but we were quickly able to arrange for one to be delivered to us for the duration of our holiday. Villa was exactly as described and well equipped for what we wanted. Our cleaner Angela was simply amazing and really looked after us nothing was too much trouble and the Agni Travel team are equally as great again super accommodating to any requests not that we had many but will definitely be using them again.If you are looking for a quiet place to get sunshine and re-charge your batteries then Kefalas is the place to go just dont forget to hire a car.
