Rural Stone Villa with private pool and mountain views near local sandy beaches!

Our villa is located in a very tranquil and relaxing environment which is typical of the Cretan rural landscape. It has been built with local stones and wood with special attention to detail. Based mainly in the traditional Cretan architectural style, it also offers modern facilities and comforts providing the best you can expect from a fully operational house.
It is totally children friendly as it is surrounded by a big gated open space.

Outside
There are many outdoor places where you can relax and enjoy the sun or the sweet summer breeze at nights, staring at the stars in the sky. We have catered for providing various seating areas all around the villa as well as 4 pergolas for shade (2 upstairs and 2 downstairs by the pool). The pool is available all year round and is maintained twice a week. 5 sunbeds and 2 umbrellas equip the area around it. There is also a bbq for an additional option of cooking meals and spending quality time together.

Inside
The interior of the house is very convenient and cosy. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, a living area, a twin bedroom , a bathroom and a small storage. In particular, the kitchen is fully equipped with a big fridge, cooker, built-in dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster and all the cooking utensils and cookware. In the living room there is an antique dining area, satellite TV and a fireplace which is operational during winter months. The bathroom downstairs has an enclosed shower and there is a washing machine in the wardrobe outside the bathroom. The bedroom on this floor has 2 standard sized single beds which can become a king sized bed upon request. A french door opens up to the pool area and allows tons of light to come in.
A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor where there is a master bedroom, a single bed bedroom and a bathroom. Both bedrooms have balconies where the view of the mountains and the trees takes your breath away.
The whole house has access to free unlimited wifi and hot water is always available. There is air-conditioning in all bedrooms.

Location
Apart from the house itself, the location is central enough to anything. The nearest beach, Ombrogialos, is a -5- minute drive away while other popular sandy beaches are from 10 to 20 minutes away.
The historical cities of Chania and Rethymno are less than an hour drive. Other villages with handy shops with local products are just 2 to 5 minutes away. You can also find some traditional tavernas in great proximity offering delicious Cretan dishes in reasonable prices.
