We loved this property! Check in and check out process were simple. There was plenty of space for our whole group, loved having two living spaces so the kids could have their own hangout space. The kitchen was nice and plenty big. We spent the majority of our time outside on the deck or down by the pool. The grill was in good condition and we used it multiple nights. The pool has lights so we used it both day and night! Location was great. Very quiet street. Close to everything. We walked up to Pine St for ice cream and shopping every day. There were beach towels, beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, etc). No complaints about this home and we hope to be back soon!

Relaxing Vacay at a Beautiful Home

We stayed for a week and wish it could have been a month. Wonderful Island with super nice people. The house was beautiful and the property management company was very responsive and super helpful. We had an issue with the door not working properly and they came out and fixed it immediately. The house itself is beautiful and was great for us to have a relaxing chill vacay at the pool with beautiful views. I will say though that the pictures online are definitely wide angle lol. Pool was the perfect temp, neighborhood was quiet and instacart was our friend lol. Restaurants are wonderful and we had sunshine every single day. House had plenty of room, and everything is well appointed. Only complaint might be that they need a thorough deep clean to get rid of dirt and stuff on walls, cabinets and moldings. The house is a pet friendly rental - so wear and tear is to be expected, but I had to actually clean some of the cabinet doors in the kitchen myself as they were visibly dirty and sticky. Also had to clean out the coffee pot as it had moldy left over coffee and filter in it - yuck. Not a big deal, but not a good start lol. The positives way outweigh the small little things.

We had a lot of issues after getting into the property. The toilet in the master bathroom wouldn’t flush- my husband fixed it. The tub in the master bath wouldn’t hold water- management sent over someone. We went to put our chicken on the grill and grill didn’t work. The biggest issue is the owner does not allow you to heat the hot tub! The hot tub is to be the same temperature as the pool. Could have been in the literature and I missed it but either way probably wouldn’t have rented the place if we knew that. For the amount of money we paid I expected a much better stay without issues.

Beautiful place on a canal

We were here in June 2024. The outside space with the TV, corn hole, tables and canal is where we ended up most evenings and it is just spectacular! They had beach chairs, sand toys if you have little ones and a large connect 4 game which we had fun playing! The layout is a little quirky with the bonus space but we understand why they did it to maximize the sleeping spaces. It could use a little updating but we spent the majority of our time out doors exploring or enjoying the pool. The Master bedroom is huge and all of the beds our family used were very comfortable. You can easily walk to the city dock and the Waterfront Restaurant and the shops next to the restaurant. The trolley stops at the City Dock, it is free. We had to contact the rental company for a small issue and they were very responsive and sent someone immediately. We had a fabulous time! Thank you for opening up your home to us!

Property location is fantastic and the bones of the house are there but the pictures online are old. The bunk room now has two weird beds jammed in the area head to foot and the other bedroom has an oddly high bed frame with no effort to even try to hide the bad purchase. The updates and repairs were done as cheaply as can be done: The full bath off the kitchen was done with plastic or vinyl sheet on the floor even though the pictures on the website show gorgeous hardwoods. (Hardwoods that are there need to be sanded and polyurethaned) The primary is super comfy but again, they covered the bathroom floor as cheaply as possible and decided against replacing the door that was on the shower. Instead there is a drugstore plastic curtain on a spring rod. The living room furniture needs to be replaced as does the sofa in the bonus room. Some TLC and this place would rock unfortunately it is hanging on by a thread.

Luxury on Loquat

Beautiful pool and dock, great for families. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Short walk to pier and trolley. The home is decorated beautifully and is on a quiet street. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you will need. We enjoyed our stay and cannot think of anything we would change.

Great place

This property was exactly as described. It’s an older home that has been mostly updated. We didn’t love the door alarms but understand it is a state law so we dealt with them. The canal was great to kayak through and the neighborhood was nice to walk our dog around. It would be nice if there was a patch of grass or turf for pets to do their business. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were fine. Any time we reached out to the management they responded promptly. We will return!

Great Vacation Home

This property worked great for our family. It was clean when we arrived. The check in/out procedure was very easy. The pool was awesome. We had a minor issue during our stay with the sink in the kitchen that was taken care of right away by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Location was good, the beach was easily accessible thanks to the golf cart we rented. Walking distance to many shops and few restaurants.

The house is great and in a perfect location. Being VRBO owners, I would recommend that some basics be available, such a aluminum foil an extra roll of toilet paper and some cooking oil, sugar.

AMI Boathouse

We had a fabulous stay at AMI boathouse. The kids enjoyed swimming in the heated pool and fishing off the dock as well as having their own private “area” of the house with the bonus room off the kitchen. House is conveniently located close to all the shops and restaurants Anna Maria Island has to offer as well as the beautiful beaches. The rental office was very responsive and easy to work with. All in all it was a great vacation and my kids are excited to go back again next year.

Great family vacation

Overall everything was great. House was perfect for our family and the kids loved the pool and kids bunk room. Only a few minor issues. The outdoor grill was very dirty so we had to clean it before being able to grill on it. The knob on the washing machine was broke but we were able to get it working. And spare bathroom shower was hard to get hot. Overall loved the place and would recommend.

Relaxing Winter Break

We really enjoyed our 3+ week stay at the AMI Boathouse. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you need, and we loved the outdoor space, especially the covered porches. This is a quiet neighborhood, and was great for walking to restaurants, the park and the bay. The backyard was completely fenced in, and worked well for our dog. We would definitely stay here again!

Super cute house on a super cute island!

Me, my fiancĂ© and our dog had a great week here. It was our first time visiting AMI, and we found the island to be very walkable with some good restaurant options (rod n reel and the ugly grouper we’re our favorites!). The house looked like something out of a magazine. Beautiful decor, very clean, and also very comfortable both inside and outside. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. I worked remotely most of the week and the wifi worked great. The heated pool was also really enjoyable. We highly recommend this rental!

Very good, but not good customer service

Loved the property and neighborhood, however, we paid and were promised a heated swimming pool and the heater wasn't working. When we called the office, a lady told us that they were waiting for the "Motor" and promised to call us back for an update on the replacement, she never did and we couldn't use the pool. I would like a reimbursement to compensate.
