Portman Paradise offers plenty of outdoor space on the amazing wrap around deck that overlooks a serene, natural lot and lakeshore. Grill some lunch and enjoy the outdoor seating for 12.
We provide two paddle boards and three kayaks with life jackets at this property to explore the cove. Adult and kid sized vests are available for your convenience.

Launch a kayak or paddleboard from the walk-in lake access (no dock) available from a shared peak on the shore, down a natural path. Check out the game room where you will find ping pong, corn hole, and arcade basketball!! This is the perfect space to enjoy if it happens to rain during your vacation!

If you'd rather spend your day inside, you'll find the updated interior comfortable, calm, spotlessly clean, and stocked with plenty of things to do! There are board games, cards, books, and, of course, smart tv's throughout the house with cable, Netflix and Disney+.

The upstairs loft bedroom provides beautiful lake views and natural light. This private suite is equipped with a queen bed, couch and television, private bathroom, walk-in closet. Outside the bedroom door there is a nook with a bonus twin bed. This nook is only semi private as it does not have a door. The second bedroom offers a private sliding door to the deck overlooking the lake, a television and king bed, as well as a private entry to the downstairs bathroom. The third bedroom is set up with a queen bed. The living room sofa pulls out to a queen mattress. All linens and pillows are provided, including a set for the sleeper-sofa.

If you want a little quiet time to read a book or gaze out the window, you can lounge in the loft on an extremely comfortable oversized beanbag, perfect for a midday nap.

The driveway has parking for 4 vehicles, but please note that the driveway is steep. The driveway is narrower at the top by the road and widens closer to the house, with an additional gravel area to provide more space. Please be mindful of neighbors' vehicles when entering and exiting the driveway. It is often easier to back into the driveway.

Due to the nature of this being a lake side house with kayaks and paddleboards, it is imperative that you understand that swimming and the use of kayaks, paddleboards and all water equipment is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with water activities. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming, and use of the kayaks and paddleboards and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that swimming, and the use of kayaks and paddleboards may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming, hiking or using the kayaks if a person has health risks, or if a person swims, or uses the kayaks or paddleboards while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents your party may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against the owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming or using the kayaks and paddleboards. All VRBO Guests in your party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver, and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between VRBO Guests and VRBO Host.
