There are also many other possibilities for trips such as; Museum village Orvelte, Hunnebedmuseum Borger, Emmen Zoo, Boomkroonpad in the forestry, Balloërveld (3km) with heathland, sand drifts and sheep herds etc. But the cities of Groningen and Assen can also be reached in a short time.

't Anderhoes is adapted and approved for the disabled on the ground floor. Also available are high chairs, cots, books, games, table tennis, maps, walking and cycling routes. Bicycles can be hired.
