The space
Spacious living space that spans the entire third floor of a multi family apartment building. Located near the midtown and downtown areas of Anchorage you will be less than 10 minutes drive to many stores, museums and other attractions and only a 15 minute drive from the airport. However you will feel like you are in your own private mountain lodge as you enjoy sweeping mountain views and golden Alaskan sunshine.

You will find all the modern comforts of home with our modernly furnished living areas and well supplied kitchen. Guests love catching up on laundry with the full size washer and dryer while being able to prepare delicious meals at home.

There is a king size memory foam bed in the master bedroom along with ample closet space and a 65” smart TV and an optional portable crib.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed with an XL twin size trundle bed that stores underneath the queen. This bedroom also has a 42” smart TV and a private screened in porch.

The living room is equipped with a brand new powered reclining furniture set. Unwind and enjoy a family movie or two on the 85” smart TV or simply relax and enjoy the alpenglow of the mountains. Watch as light aircraft come back in to land from Alaskan bush adventures…almost silently through the sound resistant picture windows! A truly unique and memorable experience!

Kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker, down draft gas stove, french door refrigerator/ freezer and much more! The butcher block table comfortably seats 6 but it is possible to pull up some extra chairs for family style dinner.

Relax in the hanging chairs in the solarium with the serenity of live plants and sun pouring in from the skylights. Board games and a reading library ensure there is plenty to do even on a rainy day. High speed mesh Wifi is offered for streaming shows or uploading epic Alaskan pictures.
Guest access
You will have full access to this beautiful apartment with the exception of one locked closet we reserve for cleaning supplies and extra linens.
Other things to note
Located near a small engine aircraft airport occasionally guest may hear some aircraft noise. The unit has very nice upgraded sound resistant windows which make any outside sounds almost unnoticeable. There are no large jets, it is a small “bush” plane airport. Past guest have said the noise from the airport is hardly noticeable.

Please note, as with most places in Alaska the unit does not have A/C. Very few buildings in the state are built with A/C. With the beautiful large windows and being on the top floor the unit can get warm. There are two ceiling fans and several portable fans located in the unit. Windows are screened in, making for a nice cross breeze when opened, while keeping the mosquitoes out and keeping you comfortably cool.
