Happy Valley Studio - Peaceful rest in nature, just 5 minutes from downtown!

About this space
Happy Valley Studio rests in a lovely rural neighborhood, near 2800 acres of Community Forestlands hiking trails. It's ~15 minutes (3.6 Mi) from the Ferry to the San Juan Islands and an easy 5 minutes from downtown Anacortes. We have been in operation since 2015 on a different platform, with over700 stellar reviews and are so happy to now also be on VRBO! What people love about our place: comfortable bed, the quiet space, private feel, the neighborhood, and our lovely gardens and pond.We look forward to hosting you!

The space
The Studio is separate from our main residence, and it is roomy, at 375 sq. ft. Our setting is 2.5 acres of garden and woodlands. You will see wildlife if you watch carefully for it, including quail, eagles, hawks, blue heron, coyote, and rabbits. Since we are rural, on clear nights you may even see the stars through the skylight windows in your room, or moonlight. In the Springtime, the frogs sing in serenade from the pond!

Guest access:
You have access to the entire North half of the upstairs in what has long been known as "the barn." It is actually a two-story garage, workroom, and flower drying facility, and greenhouse, and was used for many years as part of the dried flower production and gift shop businesses of its former owners.

Other things to note
The property is accessed via a short one-lane gravel lane with turnouts. We all pull over with a smile and a wave, to allow others by! Your parking is located directly at the foot of the balcony stairs by the two white concrete posts.

The TV is a Smart (Internet TV) not cable - but you will have fast Wifi and can sign in to your Netflix or other accounts to watch on the TV.
