Every detail has been carefully considered to create a modern yet homely stayâideal for exploring the Lakes and returning to your own private haven.
The Space:
Tucked just off Compston Road in central Ambleside, this unique apartment is full of character, comfort, and unexpected charm. Set within the former village Sorting Office, the property still carries a sense of its original purpose, most notably in the strikingly high vaulted ceilings, which flood the space with light and lend a wonderful sense of openness throughout.
The generous open-plan living area is perfect for both relaxing and socialising. The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need whether youâre whipping up a quick breakfast before heading out or preparing a more indulgent meal at home.
There are two spacious bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room, offering privacy and flexibility, making the apartment ideal for couples sharing, families, or a small group of friends.
And with a designated parking space included, you can arrive and explore with ease, leaving the car behind while you enjoy everything Ambleside has to offer on foot.

The property is in the centre of the village, close to all shops and restaurants. Further afield some of the UK's most respected restaurants are easily accessible via vehicle or public transport.

The property has parking for one car so you are able to park here guaranteed for the duration of your stay.
The property is on a major bus route and Windermere station is just a 15min journey away.

Please note that although the apartment itself is on one level, there is a series of steps in order to access the property's private entrance.
