Master bedroom and walkout lower level offer breathtaking views of Lake Huron.
During the summer months watch freighters and cruise ships from the comfort of the home, and in the winter listen to the peaceful waves forming ice while enjoying your favorite beverage. This home offers outdoor dining and a gas grill perfect for a BBQ after a long day enjoying sites around town and surrounding areas. Large lake front yard with walkout lower level offers Fire pit with seating, for evening campfires perfect for roasting marshmallows & having s'mores!
This home offers the perfect location for nearby fishing, hiking trails, down town restaurant's, bike paths, snowmobile, cross country ski trails and much more.Large driveway allows for trailer parking. Home is located on a quiet residential road, if you bring your bike take a ride around the subdivision for some great views!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rental home was very comfortable and extremely clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. We loved sitting on the deck watching the sun rise and looking at the view of Thunder Bay/Lake Huron.

Girls Getaway

We found the home spacious, clean, and well equipped. Bedrooms/beds worked well for our group of ten. The deck and the lake front (table and fireside seating) were great places to gather with beautiful views. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this property to others.

We feel like we are ‘home’ when we walk in the door! Our entire family of 3 generations is easily accommodated, bedrooms enough for each family to settle into, spacers for quiet if desired, but space to all hang out as well! Chuck & Debbie are attentive and have thought of everything

The house and grounds were clean. The kitchen is very large and has seating for 13. The kitchen island is very large, which allows for several people to get involved with meal prep. The kitchen is well appointed. The kids had a great time exploring the beach. We played games in both the back and the front yards. The location provides easy access to Alpena's shopping and restaurants. The driveway is wide, paved, and can accommodate more than 4 vehicles. We would be happy to stay here again.

Beautiful house

The house and location were perfect. We had an amazing stay. The water was warm- a little rockier than preferred, but was still very nice. We celebrated an engagement and a birthday! It was lovely. The owners were in quick and constant communication to make sure we were able to get in with no issues and immediately contacted us regarding “left behinds.”

Great stay!

We loved this home! The 5 bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths perfectly fit our family of 9. Upstairs downstairs areas, each with W/D kitchen facilities, were great! Also loved the spacious gathering areas, outside deck, and lakefront backyard with fire pit. No question that we WILL return to this home !

The home is very well designed and maintained for the ultimate vacation. The kitchen is well equipped and laid out for family meals. The common areas are beautifully appointed and comfortably furnished. The bedrooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Although the beach is rocky, the views are spectacular and our family had fun fishing and kyaking.

Fabulous Family Place

Great Family Get Away

Stayed here with three families and three children aged 2 to 4. The house is beautiful, clean and well-maintained. A great layout and a spacious kitchen and dining area allowed us to enjoy all of our meals together. We managed the 2.5 bathrooms through planning and without challenges. The location on Lake Huron is just amazing and the grandkids enjoyed playing on the rocks. The Dinosaur Gardens with putt-putt golf was a great way to spend a morning with little ones.

Very nice location and house

We had a lovely stay but 2.5 bathrooms wasn't quite enough for 6 ladies. We stayed in October for the leaf colors. The house is beautiful, nice decor and comfortable. Would stay again.

5 Stars plus!

The house is laid out nicely. We all could find our own space as needed. It is decorated nicely. We had a very wet weekend so most the time had no choice but to be indoors. The main kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes, mugs, glasses, cookware, bakeware and utensils anyone would need. The location is perfect - close enough to downtown Alpena we could go to the shops and restaurants, yet away from traffic, freeways and noise. Plenty of small grocery stores along with a Meijer within 15-20 minutes. You can walk down to Partridge Point Park to see wildlife (deer, raccoons, many different birds). The neighbors are all so friendly, so don't stay here if you don't appreciate a smile and wave from someone walking down the street. Quick responses when we had questions pre-trip. There was no reason to reach out during the stay - the place was perfect!

The property was well kept with modern appliances, clean with Internet and cable access. 5 living spaces, 2 1/2 bathrooms, a deck and plenty of room to sit back and relax. With a boat launch and 2 beeches a mile from this residence, it was easy to get to. Well worth your vacation dollars!

This is a first-rate vacation home, beautifully located and extremely well maintained. There's plenty to do in Alpena: shipwreck tours, a fine museum, at least 2 very good brewpubs and outstanding deep-water lake fishing with Wipe Out Charters. Enthusiastically recommended!

Beautiful Thunder Bay Family Retreat

We booked this property for our annual multi-generational family vacation. Ages 4 months - 70 years enjoyed this beautiful home. The house was spacious and the perfect layout to allow our group to enjoy both community space and privacy. The kitchen/dining space was one of our favorite areas to gather to prepare and enjoy meals together. The deck provided a great space to relax and enjoy the beautiful lake view. The home was very well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The owners were very responsive and helpful, and the daily trash pickup was a great added bonus. Also, the washers and dryers come in quite handy with kids and beach fun. Thanks for an amazing stay. We will be back!

Plenty of room

The house was wonderful. It was comfortable and the kitchen is nicely updated. It had plenty of room for all 11 of us, our youngest was 12yrs old. We never felt crowded. Each room had its own AC unit for personalized controls. The kitchen had everything would need, including small prepping/cooking appliances. We brought our kayaks and kayaked to sulfur island. The nearby beach was only a couple miles away. Overall we had a wonderful time.
