The space

This property offers 21st century laid back summer living. You could be on the Caribbean coast of Mexico as you lounge by the 10m salt water pool or take a gentle 10 minute stroll to the beach and enjoy a variety of chiringuitos (beach bars) serving fresh fish, traditional Spanish food or be tempted by new wave Spanish cuisine.
Three double ensuite bedrooms, open plan kitchen diner reception room easily accommodating six people.
The pool is surrounded by terracing with ancient olive trees, cactus, hibiscus and other flowering shrubs. A large grass area by the pool is perfect for children to play. Al fresco dining at a large 12 seat table also offers views of the bay and sea. BBQ by the pool area and additional seating and dining facilities in the poolside gazebo. The pool also benefits from its own shower and changing room.
There is a pétanque court for all the family to enjoy after a day in the sun.
The property has electric gates and off street parking for 3 cars. Laundry room, dishwasher, two ovens one a microwave/oven/grill, 2 fridge freezers, plus an outside drinks fridge, washing machine and dryer. The villa sits on grounds and gardens of 1000 sq.m filled not only with 3 ancient Olive trees, but lemon, kumquat, lime orange, fig and pomegranate trees.
Once inside, the house is all on one level surrounded by covered terraces. The third bedroom has a linked bed and can be a double or two singles.
One of the great assets of the house is its proximity to the beach which is walkable easily in 10 mins and another 10 takes you to the heart of the village.
La Herradura offers many opportunities for sports minded guests. Scuba diving schools, padelboarding, kayaking, or just snorkelling in the protected waters at this end of the bay. There is a popular summer school for kids from 3 to teens offering many beach and sea games and sports.
There is a zoned burglar alarm and entry camera.
Other things to note
The Marina del Este is accessed from the other side of the bay and offers an array of dining opportunities as you sit admiring the boats, some boutique clothes shopping, a hidden little white sand beach and a large beach popular with divers.

La Herradura has shops providing for all your needs and larger supermarkets can be found 3 km away in Almunecar.
