Tucked into the pines on a quiet street in the tiny town of Alma, this beautiful home features gorgeous views and modern amenities that can be enjoyed with those you love.

As you enter the home, step into the hallway that provides a full size washing machine and dryer for guest use - no need to waste precious vacation time at the laundromat in town. Up the stairs, discover a well appointed Kitchen with ample counter space, modern appliances and everything you will need to whip up your favorite meal. As you step from the kitchen, you are greeted by a large dining table with roomy seating for 6 - plenty of space for meal time with those you love. The large windows of the great room offer beautiful valley views.
In the Living Room, the comfortable overstuffed seating around the fireplace and smart TV provides an ideal space to lounge the days away, or curl up in the reading nook with a good book. Relish in the classic mountain cabin decor with thoughtful, unique and personal touches throughout the house that will make you feel right at home.The Central Bathroom features a vanity, standard toilet and a bathtub/shower combo, where you can choose to start the day with a quick and refreshing rinse or sink in for a long, hot soak.
Up the stairs to the top floor, step through the door of the Master Suite where you are greeted by a pillow soft King size bed fitted with cozy cotton bed linens, large dressers, a smart TV and an En Suite Bathroom. The spacious En Suite Bathroom features a vanity, standard toilet and a bathtub/shower combo, where you can choose to start the day with a quick and refreshing rinse or sink in for a long, hot soak. The adjacent Bedroom features a Queen size bed and a set of Twin over Full size Bunk beds all fitted without cozy cotton bed linens. The bedroom has a full En Suite Bathroom, a walk-in closet and large dresser, offering plenty of storage space.

Alma is home to a variety of wildlife and this spectacular location affords opportunities to observe Elk, Deer and Foxes (just to name a few of the critters!) right on the property. Additionally, you may be able to see Moose in their natural habitat in the nearby wetland area located less than 1 mile from the Valley View house. One side of the garage is available for guest use and the roadways are maintained by the town of Alma, but 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES ARE recommended for getting around from November through May due to the frequent snow storms in this area.

Park County is an activity center of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, it's a great "Base Camp!" If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will probably find it within 10-20 minutes of the cabin. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow-shoeing, horseback riding (winter too!), ice climbing, fishing, hunting, rafting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, mine exploration, canoeing, kayaking, and much much more.

* Guests are required to have a four-wheel drive vehicle with adequate snow tires or chains during the winter months from November through May. The area is subject to frequent unpredictable and adverse weather conditions which can make travel difficult.
* This home is located in a rural high alpine mountain environment where wildlife, insects and rodents may be encountered. The home is also equipped with a well water system and may have variability in taste, smell or mineral content based on time of year and usage.
* Guests will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement after booking.
