Lake-adjacent, the honest way: You're directly across the street from Lake Martin — a short, easy walk to the public access point, with secure parking for boats and trailers right at the house. You'll catch lake views from the property, and you're only minutes from Wind Creek State Park and the boat ramp. (Note: this is a lake-adjacent home, not a private waterfront property — no private dock or shoreline — which is exactly why it stays so quiet.)
Built for pets: A fully fenced backyard gives your dog room to roam, and the doggie door leads straight out to the screened porch so they can come and go while you relax. Travelers with pets are our most frequent — and happiest — guests.
Two porches to choose from: The screened-in back porch is the star — shaded, breezy, and made for slow mornings. Out front, a second porch with a gas grill is perfect for cooking out.
A kitchen ready to actually cook in: Center island, newer appliances, and the essentials stocked — coffee, cookware, and the basics. Bring your favorite spices and you're set.
Comfortable living + fast WiFi: Plush seating, a smart TV in the living room, and fast WiFi throughout — easy whether you're winding down or working remote.

You'll catch lake views from the property and you're minutes from Wind Creek State Park and the boat ramp (about 8 minutes — anglers, this one's for you). One honest note: this is a lake-ADJACENT home, not private waterfront — no dock or private shoreline — which is exactly why it stays so peaceful.

Spotless, peaceful, and genuinely pet-ready — and a host who answers fast (usually within the hour). "Felt right at home" is the line we hear most.
A car is the way to go here — the lake and everything around it is a short, easy
drive, and there's plenty of free parking right at the house for cars, trucks,
boats, and trailers. Public lake access is just a short walk across the street.

- Use WIND CREEK ROAD when you navigate — some GPS apps route you onto Peppers

- No rideshare or transit to count on out here — plan to have a vehicle.
We're excited to host you. Before you confirm your booking, please be aware that we require guests to sign a separate rental agreement as part of the booking process. This agreement outlines important details about your stay, including house rules, check-in/check-out procedures, and other essential information.
Early Check-In & Late Check-Out
Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability. If available, the fee is $20.00 per hour (minimum of one hour). Please reach out as soon as possible if you’d like to request an extension.
Security & Monitoring
For the safety and security of our guests and the property, we have motion-activated cameras installed on the exterior areas only. These cameras record audio and video and monitor entrances, patios, and pool areas (if applicable).
Additionally, we use a noise monitoring device inside the property. This device does not record audio or video but helps us ensure that noise levels remain respectful for neighbors.
AGE REQUIREMENTS The primary booking guest must be at least 21 years of age for an apartment and age 25 for a single family house. The primary booking guest is required to be present for the duration of the stay and is responsible for all guests, visitors, and compliance with house rules. Reservations made by guests who do not meet the minimum age requirement may be canceled prior to check-in or during the stay, without refund, if the age requirement is found to be misrepresented. This policy is in place for safety, insurance, and property protection purposes and is applied consistently to all guests.
