Located in a scenic setting of the Silver Coast, 15 min by car from the famous white sand/surf beaches of Nazare & ideal to visit many must see attractions, Quinta Boa Vida offers comfortable lodging on an ancient farm with scenic views just 3 min away by car from the town center of Alcobaca. After passing the green iron gate walk the traditional granite cobble stone path to the typical Portuguese style villa to enjoy nature views, peaceful gardens, amazing pool deck, BBQ area and more.

Nestled among the hills of Alcobaça, our charming 1.7-hectare property sits atop a characteristic hillside, offering panoramic 360° views of the surrounding vineyards and natural landscape. The property boasts its own creek, several rows of vineyards, an apple orchard, and a variety of trees—including olive and loquat trees with delectable fruits. Despite its proximity to essential amenities, good restaurants, and nearby sightseeing opportunities, the small forest and mountain vistas create an impression of being in a remote countryside haven.

The Hidden Jewel Villa is one of the largest of our 5 rental homes on our property, is charming 70 m2 two bedroom rustic style semi detached villa. The entrance door opens to the kitchen and space layout with high wooden ceilings and open concept living/kitchen area. The kitchen is colorful and is fully equipped with oven and gas stove. There's a round table to enjoy a delicious meal, or simply each other's company. The living room opens directly on a private wooden floor terrace where you can enjoy a morning coffee or the peaceful gardens in the evening. It's mostly encircled by trees for privacy but also has a lovely view to enjoy.
The bedrooms are comfortable, with each a queen size bed. The larger bedroom is quite spacious, and has closet space and an armchair for reading, it also offers the perfect space for a baby bed. Two accent walls that show the rustic and humble history of the property give the room a special charming touch. The smaller bedroom is also bright and cozy and offers a double bed and closet space. The beds have comfortable matrasses for a perfect sleep. A baby bed can be provided on request.The villa has air condition that can cool or heat as required. We provide bed linens and bathroom towels for our guests (guests use their own beach towels for the pool). From the terrace you can take a walk through the gardens, and use the shared BBQ area and pool area as you feel like.

The place you will surely find amazing is the pool. Perched on the most elevated area of the property, it feels like a true oasis. Imagine basking in the sun on comfortable loungers, the water sparkling and inviting. The pool deck, thoughtfully designed, provides more than just a place to swim. It’s a haven for relaxation.
Hammocks under the old cork tree: Picture yourself swaying gently in a hammock, the dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves. Perhaps you’re reading a book or simply soaking in the tranquility. The cork tree, with its rugged bark and ancient presence, adds to the charm.
Large white round table under the Gazebo: Gather here with friends or family. The shade of the gazebo shields you from the sun, creating a perfect spot for conversation, laughter, and shared moments. Maybe you’re sipping wine, the glasses clinking, as you discuss the day’s adventures.
Morning coffee at the side table: Early risers will appreciate this. Imagine stepping out onto the pool terrace, the air crisp, and after a morning swim savoring that first cup of coffee. The world waking up around you—the birds singing, the promise of a new day.
And as the sun sets, the pool area transforms. The water reflects the changing colors of the sky, and you might choose to take an evening swim. The outdoor shower awaits, refreshing after a day of exploring nearby sights.
