The space
Beautiful and romantic 130 sq. meters three bedroom luxury apartment, one room with king size bed, one with king size that can be changed to two single and in addition there is one single bed, the third bedroom has a queen size bed with single bed above (bunk). The apartment has a large bathroom, both shower and bathtub and a walk in laundry room that has both washing machine and a dryer, ironing board and a steam iron.
The apartment is located directly at the corner of the Town hall square and the main walking(shopping) street of Akureyri. From the third floor apartment you have a nice Panorama view over the city centre. Whale watching is 150 meters away, swimming pool 5 minutes walk and all the best restaurants, bars and café's are at the doorstep. Parking is very convenient. Free parking is just 200 meters away. Everything is within walking distance from the apartment. Visit the bakery around the corner or the book store across the street or any of the nice cafe's or restaurants within 200 meters of the apartment. Akureyri's Cultural house, music hall and the nice swimming pool is just few minutes away by foot. The main taxi station and bus transfers are in 200 meters distance. Great nature attractions are in short driving distance, like lake Myvatn, Dynjandi and Godafoss waterfall are roughly one hour drive from apartment. This is a unique apartment concerning style, comfort and last but not least location which enables you to explore Akureyri by foot.
Enjoy watching the cultural life of Akureyri and the beautiful town centre just out side your window from the third floor location.
Please be aware that there is no elevator, but the third floor location compensates with a panoramic view of the downtown life right from your living room and kitchen windows.
The apartment has been fully refurbished in beginning of 2013 in an comfortable antique style but with all the latest comfort. New 70" flat screen, Apple TV(Netflix), high end Hi-Fi system and high speed internet access included. We also have cable TV with all the international and local stations, including the English Premier League.
