Villa Serenidad in Akumal steps from the Beach!

Villa Serenidad is available for beach holidays; vacation rentals; girlfriend and good-friends getaways; extended stays for digital nomad and work-from-home professionals; as well for renters seeking month-to-month up to full-year stays. Located in Tao Ocean, a small, tranquil seaside community, the Villa is adjacent to the beach town of Akumal (with an array of restaurants plus it's a snorkelers' paradise), midway between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, and a mere 2-minute walk to the beach through shaded paths.

This lovely, fully-furnished 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa features a contemporary open-concept design with ceramic tile flooring and lofty ceilings throughout the interior. The airy indoor rooms each connect to a set of outdoor living spaces, comprised of a garden terrace on the first floor, a Juliet balcony and a lounging terrace on the second floor, and a breathtaking roof-top terrace with 360-degree views of the surrounding treetops. The living space on the first floor provides maximum flow between the cozy living room and the dining room (with seating for 6) and the kitchen. The living room features a sofa, side chairs, a coffee table, satellite TV, digital music.
A corner of the first-floor living area is a dedicated work-space overlooking the backyard garden. Wi-Fi connectivity is provided here and throughout the villa. This work-space is equipped with a desk, a printer table, a universal charger for cell-phones and laptops, and a mini-lending library with fiction and non-fiction titles.

The villa's fully-equipped kitchen is well stocked with everything one might need either for a quick meal prep, or for the creation of more elaborate meals, with pots, pans, dishware, glasses, utensils, etc. designed for cooking, baking, and for whipping up batches of cold tropical drinks. Along with a large stainless-steel refrigerator, a stove-top, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, and small appliances (including a coffee-maker, a toaster, and a blender), the kitchen offers both ample work-space on its granite counters as well as a bar and two bar stools for additional seating.
Our guests are also provided with a water bubbler that sits on the kitchen counter and is kept topped with a large jug of fresh spring water.
The oversized sliding doors on the first floor provide both plenty of light as well as access to the backyard garden terrace with an unimpeded view of the lush greenery that surrounds the villa. In turn, the sliding doors are fitted with full-length door screens that can be pulled open to let in cool breezes. The garden terrace is also set up with an outdoor dining table (seating for 6) that is topped with a patio umbrella for shade.
In addition, a corner of the first floor living area is set up as a dedicated work-space that overlooks the backyard garden. This dedicated office space is equipped with a small desk, a small printer table, and a mini-library. Guests are welcome to read and then return books to our little library, as well as to donate their own books, if they like, to the library for future guests.
The first of the Villa's three bedrooms is located on the first floor. This bedroom has a large window with a view of the front garden, and features a Double bed and a bathroom located just outside the door. Worth adding: this bedroom, with its adjacent bathroom, is also well-suited for guests who either cannot climb stairs, or who have some limited mobility.
The second floor of Villa Serenidad is accessed via a set of curving stairs, with a safety handrail, and is dedicated to rest and relaxation with two additional high-ceilinged bedrooms. The first bedroom on the second floor has a queen-sized bed, along with its own private en-suite bath. In turn, two large sliding patio doors let in the sunshine during the day, and open out onto a Juliet balcony that overlooks the front garden. Like the patio doors downstairs, the sliding doors in the two bedrooms on the second floor are equipped with door screens that can be opened to let in the ocean breezes.
The third and largest bedroom in Villa Serenidad features a stunning set of wrap-around windows, along with a king-sized bed and an adjoining en-suite bath with two sinks. In turn, sliding doors open out onto a spacious terrace that overlooks the surrounding trees, and is perfect for relaxing in the morning with a coffee, for sun-bathing, and for lounging.
All three bedrooms in the villa also feature roomy closets and sets of drawers for clothing and luggage storage. In turn, all three bedrooms are fitted with their own air-conditioning units and ceiling fans, allowing each guest to adjust the temperature to their own preference with remote controls. Likewise, all three bathrooms feature spacious, marble-tiled shower stalls; and bathroom amenities, including bath towels, hand towels, beach towels, shampoo, body wash, hand soap, toilet paper, a blow-dryer, etc. are provided.
One of the most outstanding features of Villa Serenidad is the beautiful roof terrace where you can take in 360-degree views, during the day, of the surrounding greenery and, at night, enjoy the cool air as you sip on a Caribbean drink under a star-filled sky. The rooftop terrace is set up with comfy lounge chairs, and also features a bar counter with a working sink.

Jungle Fish, the open-air Beach Club, Restaurant, and Bar for Tao Ocean, is a 2-minute walk from Villa Serenidad. With the purchase of a beverage or food item, enjoy the beach club for an entire day and throughout your stay. In addition to a swimming pool and outdoor showers for rinsing off, take refreshing dips in the ocean, leisurely long walks on the beach, relax in loungers under beach umbrellas, and enjoy great seafood lunches as well as dinners under the stars at the Beach Club's seaside tables.

In addition, guests are welcome to enjoy the amenities of the Tao Ocean Wellness Center, located 5-minutes by car from the Villa. The Tao Wellness Center features outdoor lap swimming pools, a smoothie bar, yoga and other exercise classes, and more. Fees for the services at the Wellness Center will apply.
