Here the fresh air is intoxicating, and gentle trade winds blowing in from the Caribbean are so refreshing. Enjoy outdoor dining and delicious fresh food in our favorite open-air restaurants, most just a short walk away.
Leave your worries behind; our rental properties have always offered the standards of cleanliness (e.g. daily maid service) the rest of the world is now needing to emulate. No stress either, as we offer unique flexibility right now for our travelers during these hard-to-predict times. Nestled in the middle of Half Moon Bay, Akumal, Nikte-ha 4 is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo on the second floor. Guests will enjoy the large terrace for endless panoramic views of crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea while dining or lounging in the outdoor recliners! Shiny and new, the condo offers lovely updated details, such as custom frescos and high-end furnishings/appliances. Best of all, there are spectacular views from every room.

This unit is absolutely spectacular! You will find comfort, style and high end finishes throughout. The master suite has a comfortable king bed with endless Caribbean views and en suite bathroom. The 2nd suite has a fun theme, "Pirate's Cove", offering a queen bed and lush tropical jungle views from the west-facing terrace. Guests in the 2nd BR will love the whimsy of the decor - their own personal treasure hunt! Luxurious bathrooms and showers for visitors to enjoy in each suite. Only need one bedroom? The condo can be rented as a 1BR also. Traveling with friends - we have other units here to book them in so you can all be together.

The complex has a beachfront pool, a pergola for shade by the pool, and a lovely water feature on the roadside entrance. Off-street parking and wifi are complimentary.

No smoking allowed in the unit or on the grounds.

Please be aware that sargassum seaweed is a natural phenomenon that can accumulate along the shoreline, affecting the beach experience. We're transparent about this, but it is unpredictable and beyond our control. While we maintain the beach to the best of our ability, there may be times when sargassum is present.

Best Ocean View!

Loved our stay at this apartment! Waking up to the best sunrise each morning was just bliss. The condo is spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The outdoor balcony area was so nice to relax and soak up the views and ocean breeze. Love the little town of Akumal. There's lots of really good restaurants around and the people are so friendly. Can't wait to go back to this hiddlen gem!!

Great, modern, very well maintained property

This is a first class modern condo with a beautiful balcony, great pool, marvelous views and a perfect location in half moon bay. Excellent snorkeling, great dining at La Lunita all within easy walking distance. The daily cleaning service for the rooms and grounds is also superb.

Best stay ever in Akumal in 10 years

The property is perfectly situated half way between everthing that can be done while in Akumal from dining at our favorite restaurant Taverna with Elda and her wonderful staff, La Buena Vida with Reyes behind the bar, La Lunita for that special occason. But back to the casita. The mural, hand painted across from the dining room table is exquisite. The living room is super comfy and the kitchen is equipped with everything a gourmet chef could want. The beds are super comfortable, the air conditioner works excellent and the views are to die for. The swimming pool is excellent. Do me a favor if your considering booking in Akumal just book this Condo you will not regret it you will be so happy. Thanks for our 10 day stay we will be back soon!

Beautiful Condo

This condo was in a perfect location in Akumal. We were able to walk to a few restaurants which was really nice and there was a small store accross the street. The unit was seemingly new, well equipped, and comfortable to stay in. We loved the view from the deck. Mngmt accommodated our last minute check in and made it so easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay on Half Moon Bay Akumal

Beautiful condo, lovely location, right on the water with a great view of the ocean from the balcony. Comfortable bed, too! And waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the water was spectacular!

Beautiful condo but expensive

We've been coming to Akumal 25+ years staying in many different condos. This one is very new, lovely comfortable furniture and beds. Everything you could think of for cooking, which we love. But it does not justify the price as compared to most others in the area in my opinion. I preferthe open feel of the older units with better views and prices about $100 less a night. But as I said, just my opinion..

Great location

We loved the location, morning sunrises were amazing. The condo has great amenities, like comfortable furniture on the balcony and sharp kitchen knives. We don’t speak Spanish so it was a little challenging to communicate with the property manager.

Great condo, great staff, seamless process- sargassum was bad but still had great snorkeling

The view was stunning. The unit was clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable. Showers were nice. We lacked nothing. Daily housekeeping (I’ll misspell her name but Elihija was awesome). Pool and grounds were serviced daily. S&S vacations was EXTREMELY responsive- replied to virtually every email we sent immediately, even on a Sunday, which really helped since this was our first time down there, especially going to a foreign country. The property manager was also very responsive and attentive. The only downside was the sargassum which inhibits access to the water but that is beyond their control and I was easily able to walk five minutes down the beach to the left to some excellent snorkeling. There’s a portion of Half Moon Bay referred to as Coral Islands near the north end which is protected from the waves and has phenomenal snorkeling. I saw many great fish including French angel fishes, parrot fishes, yellowtail damselfishes, beaugregory, sergeant Majors, as well as a flounder, baby sea turtle, stingray, and two squids. The outdoor shower at the pool was refreshing and came in handy after snorkeling I also went diving through Akumal dive shop and had a very nice dive and saw an enormous sea turtle as well as many wonderful fish. If you’re more into the beach than diving or snorkeling, Akumal Bay is 0.7 miles away and has a beautiful sandy beach if you just want to hang out at the beach and do some snorkeling and look for sea turtles. Our favorite restaurants were La Lunita, Taverna, Turtle Bay CafĂ©, and Jungle Fish. The food at La Buena Vida was underwhelming but it’s worth a visit at least once for a drink with eclectic decor and a beautiful view. Honestly I was sad to leave and I hope that we can return.

Honest Overview

The Good : Akumal is a great beachy vibe community. Food is excellent and the walkability to restaurants and stores is perfect. Our fave restaurants were La Buena Vida, Taverna and Turtle Bay Bakery. Yal Ku cenote is also walkable and was the best cenote to visit. The staff were top notch at Nikte Ha 4. Daily cleaning was wonderful. Convenient small store across the street very handy. Could be Improved: the linens and towels in the unit need to be changed. I frequently had to wash them as they were starting to get smelly quickly. The furniture is also only ok, on the comfort scale. The beach is not the easiest to walk but the view is breathtaking. Sunrise right out the window is amazing. You do need water shoes as getting in and out of the ocean is rocky. The sargassum bloomed for 2 of our 3 week vacation which make snorkelling and swimming less enjoyable. Pool was lovely and clean.

Best vacation we have ever had.

We loved everything about this condo. The washer and dryer was a nice addition, gas cooktop which we enjoyed and air-conditioning that worked very well. The furnishings, view and everything about this condo are perfect. We will be looking to book this specific condo again in the spring!

Very nice place!

This condo has all of the amenities you could need. It's located in the perfect location, weather is fantastic and the surrounding area is beautiful. Easy to walk to eat at either La Buena Vida or La Lunita. Yal-Ku lagoon is a very short walk away as well. If you're looking for a fantastic place to stay in a very low-key, relaxed location, this place is going to be right for you!

Place was beautiful, lots of seaweed right now...

Beautiful place, nicely located on the beach, but sometimes a smell due to the seaweed. Not the property's fault, just a timing coincidence of mother nature and our visit.
