Nestled amid woodland around 2 miles from Abergavenny, this stylish pod offers welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of three modern pods set in the grounds of a popular pub, itâs ideal for couples and solo travellers who love walking and nature. Located within the Brecon Beacons National Park, itâs surrounded by superb walks, including Sugar Loaf Peak and the Offaâs Dyke Pathway.
Built in 2024 and crafted from bare wood, this single-storey pod is beautifully designed, with wooden flooring, LED lights and characterful curved walls. Sleeping two adults, it features a cosy layout with four separate rooms. With a wood burner, comfy sofa and a Smart TV, the lounge is perfect for cosying up after a day on the trails. A kitchenette provides all the basics for rustling up simple meals (with the pub offers delicious alternatives if you donât feel like cooking!). When night falls, get snug under the covers in the cute double bedroom, before a refreshing shower in the en suite leaves you ready for new adventures the following morning. Outside, guests have shared use of a garden with picnic benches and country views, and thereâs private parking for one car.
This is a dream location for outdoor enthusiasts with a wealth of activities on your doorstep. Conquer the modest peak of Sugar Loaf (a walk of around 5.5 miles) or wander through woodland to The Skirrid (3.5 miles). Keen mountain bikers can head for Mynddu Forest (8 miles) while a range of water sports can be enjoyed at Llangorse Lake (18 miles). The market town of Abergavenny (2 miles) is paradise for food lovers with gastropubs, ancient inns and restaurants, and delicious local produce.
