A private island in the heart of the Exuma Islands

Hattie Cay is unlike any other, as its whole essence and aura is built around the principle of being one with nature; existing in perfect balance. The energy that flows through the secluded island steals your heart, and in return makes you feel that you are truly in synch with the beat of the earth. Hattie Cay is powered by the sun and the fresh water is made by reverse osmosis, making it fully sustainable and eco-friendly.

On one end of the island, at the highest point, you will find the master bedroom suite with its octagonal shape and 360-degree views. The master bedroom has a king size bed with split unit air-conditioning, complimented by a hot-water outdoor shower and fully enclosed separate bathroom.

The main outdoor lounging area, dining area, and kitchen are also situated on this end of the island. The kitchen being that it is outdoor yet fully protected from the rain, is “glamping" at its finest in the Exumas, with its’ cobalt blue Wedgewood gas range stove, grill and its cozy nook with a flat screen TV, in case you feel the urge to reconnect with the outside world.

When you take the boardwalk to the other end of the island you will pass the main dock entrance with the balinese daybed and gazebo and alas you will reach the second bedroom suite, also an octagonal shape with 360-degree views.

The second bungalow overlooks the piercing aquamarine water dancing on the sandbars. The bungalow is furnished with a king size bed, split unit air-conditioning, bathroom and has a hot water outdoor shower.

Hattie Cay is an excellent place for kiteboarding, with its extended sand peninsula, beach and shallow waters, along with kayaking, snorkeling, and shell hunting. Hattie Cay is situated in an ideal area in the central Exumas, only minutes away from the amazing sites such as, the swimming pigs, the sharks of Compass Cay, Staniel Cay Yacht Club, Thunderball Grotto and more. Hattie Cay offers the necessities of modern conveniences one would wish for, such as full-time electricity, AC’s, TV, Internet and water toys. We are more than happy to liaison food provisioning, chef services, guiding, fishing trips and boat rentals for you.

Three Bedrooms (Sleeps 6):

Bedroom 1 has wood shutters that open to beautiful view of the water all around and it is near the outdoor kitchen and outdoor shower. The restroom is a few steps aside. At night the lights are very dimmed to allow the full view of the stars.
Bedroom 2 has regular glass windows, a beautiful all-around deck and the best sunset spot right on the water. Just outside a bathroom with toilet and a shower and two sinks.
Bedroom 3 in named the Cave house and was figged into the rock. just a few feet from the water.

Four Bathrooms:

At the main house or bedroom 1, which is at the highest elevation, you go down a few wooden steps to the outdoor shower and a few more steps to the restroom and sink.
For the guest house or bedroom 2 the bathroom is inside (a nice outdoor is also there) just 10 feet outside the room with a beautiful setup and view.
The Cave room has an outdoor covered bathroom and shower with a spectacular view.
