Escape to our charming A-frame Hygge Cabin nestled in the heart of the Daniel Boone National Forest, where you can relax, unplug and unwind. Or if adventure is more your speed, explore Kentucky's natural resources at Red River Gorge Geological Area and Cave Run Lake for swimming/fishing and hiking. Embrace the tranquility of nature with all the modern amenities, cozy interior and easy access to scenic trails. We have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Escape to nature in style. Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up a quick meal including pots, pans, baking dishes, bowls, utensils, plates, oil and spices.

Awesome place, great host.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! Our family of three loved the peaceful, beautiful area surrounding the property—perfectly situated with easy drives to the Red River Gorge and Daniel Boone National Forest. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and rustic with just the right touch of modern amenities. It was the perfect home base for our adventures, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend!

Nice quiet getaway

Host was prompt when we had questions during our stay. Everything was clean and well stocked. Bed was super comfy. We were lucky enough to be the only ones staying in the cabins along the road so it was a very peaceful stay.

Great place to be away from it all.

Everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with staples (we forgot syrup, but lo and behold, there was some in the cupboard!). It was really quiet and just a perfect place to relax. 5 stars. Would stay again.

Perfect little getaway

Perfect Getaway!

We loved this adorable cabin. We had two goals - hit a stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and hike RRG. We stopped first at Barrel House Distillery in Lexington and took a bourbon tour, then headed to the Hygge House. Hiked an amazing trail in the Gorge the next day. Host has all the amenities and the fire pit was a great ending to a wonderful weekend away.

A Great Get Away!

The check in process for cabin was flawless and easy. The location was great! We enjoyed being away to ourselves and still having the convenience of a dollar store just down the road. We were able to get away from work and stress and enjoy the peace and quiet that the outdoors has to offer. We will definitely be back again!

Gorgeous Cabin!

We had a wonderful stay here. The cabin is beautifully decorated. Every detail was perfect - should be in a magazine! It sits on a quiet street surrounded by beautiful trees, backing up to Daniel Boone National Forest. It was super clean and equipped with everything we needed. The back porch and fire pit area were great spots to relax in nature. The host was fantastic and we cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing getaway!

It's an adorable cabin. Everything advertised is accurate. We didn't plan for the groceries like they suggested. I'm glad that we didn't. The 30-minute drive to Save a Lot is a beautiful drive! So if you forget something, don't panic and enjoy the beauty that Kentucky offers. After all, isn't that why you're there? I spoke with the host, Amy, on the phone, and she's very accommodating. I'll probably book this again on my next trip to the Gorge. Thank you again, Amy. Your cabin is gorgeous!!
