If you have to stay at a hotel in Mulege
By any normal hotel standard, this place is poor. But, as far as Mulege is concerned, this place is one of the better ones. To begin with, the road to the hotel off the "highway" is not paved and is rough. The hotel is inside a walled area; but there are private residences in the area. Signage to the office is poor. I ended up walking into an elderly American's house by mistake. Luckily he didn't shoot me - LOL! He directed me to the hotel office. Rooms are concrete bungalows with beds on concrete slabs. No electric outlets, except one in the bathroom. No closets to hang clothes. A nail on the wall is a make-shift hanger. No WIFI in rooms, only in the lobby and restaurant area, which worked well. Breakfast not included. MXN 40 for a cup of coffee, unless you have breakfast at the hotel. Daily maid service, which is good. Quick & plentiful hot water in bathroom. Mirror in bathroom not above sink. Parking near room. Took a nasty fall by tripping over a low-rise concrete barrier walking to the swimming pool area because there were no warning markings to watch my step. It's a ripoff to charge what I was charged for two nights at this place. I'm just glad I only stayed at this hotel for two nights and was able to walk out
