Set in the former fishing picturesque village of Walberswick, the accommodation offers an incredible base for groups of family or friends wanting to explore Suffolk’s delightful coastline. Walberswick Beach (200 metres) is a favourite with dog walkers, and the peaceful dunes and shingle shoreline pose a wonderful setting for a picnic. Walberswick also has a pub and a gastro pub and is famous for crabbing for people of all ages. Elsewhere on the Suffolk coast, explore the National Trust-maintained beauty spot of Dunwich Beach (6 miles) and the RSPB Minsmere (8.5 miles). Southwold (1.5 miles) can be found just across the River Blyth (a great spot for crabbing!), with regular passenger ferries offering crossings throughout the peak season, Once in the town, you can walk along Denes Beach and onto the parade, passing the famed lighthouse as you reach the pier (2 miles).
