Malibu hilltop haven
Publié le 20 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe absolutely loved our stay at Colin and Susan’s guest suite, we found ourselves wishing we had gotten to spend more time at the property itself! The hot tub and hammock overlooking the mountains were amazing amenities, we had so much fun horseback riding with Colin and Maura, and the suite was exactly as pictured. Susan even provided some basic groceries in the fridge. Highly recommend, wonderful hosts of a wonderful property!

Incredible stay!
Publié le 4 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis couldn’t have been a better stay! My only regret is not coming for longer. Susan was super communicative and everything was exactly as described. Our dog had a wonderful time as well. We were attending a wedding at Calamigos ranch and it was literally across the street and more than half the price of staying on sight. We definitely will be back again, thank you Susan!

We had such a wonderful weekend at this property! The natural surroundings of nature, plant life, animal life, along with the mountain views, was exactly what we were looking for. My favorite moment was taking off my shoes and walking in the plush, soft grass, while taking in the view. Followed by laying in the hammock between two large trees and truly soaking it in. The guest house is charming, clean, and has all the amenities you could need. This is a guest house on a large private property, in the mountains of Malibu. You would have no idea that Los Angeles is just over the mountain. The nights were peaceful and star-filled. Fantastic getaway, thank you for the amazing stay! We’d love to come back.

The Malibu Hills and an inspirational host!

On top of that Colin, our host, was such an amazing character who we instantly connected with. His story has “box office” hit all over it, a charming man who’s life’s journey has just been like a best selling novel! A big shout out to Susan too who prepared our cottage and provided an abundance of lovely essentials and more! You will love this place and we will be back!

Perfect relaxing getaway

Was so peaceful & quiet, jacuzzi was amazing and place was perfect with a romantic charm. Especially loved the fresh flowers everywhere that smelled amazing. Would for sure stay here again next time we need a quick escape. :)

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We found the perfect suite in Malibu hosted by Colin and Susan on a beautiful ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains. Very cozy suite fully stocked and equipped with great amenities. Super relaxing hot tub with a great mountain view.
The location is great and offers great proximity to many beautiful beaches and hikes (great recommendations from the host). Make sure to hit up Malibu's vibrant dining scene and farmers market.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a tranquil getaway with their furry friends. We would love to come back in the future!

Weekend in Malibu
Publié le 2 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I had a great stay at Susan and Clint’s mountain retreat. The views were amazing, it’s a great place to watch the sunset in the canyon. The house was so nice, bed super comfortable and they brought us an additional heater since it was a bit chilly when we visited. We also loved relaxing in the hot tub after spending our days hiking, great way to unwind. We would love to stay again! Thanks!
