I had the worst stay at hotel Bellagio for New Year’s, leading to spending more time to try to get things fixed than enjoying Las Vegas.
Even though it is a « luxury » hotel, the quality of the rooms, the service level (teams false promises) was disastrous.
- the door in our room was not closing properly leading to hearing everything in the corridor
- the sink was stuck without the water evacuating
- got finally moved to a new room on the night of the 31st so we could go out to celebrate finally new year eve and got offered $75 for the inconvenience out of food and beverages by guest services for which at check out nobody had any information and I had to dispute it.
- forgot my pyjamas in the room when I was transfered to the new room, called at house keeping, lost and found, went to front desk, to lost and founds offices for 2 days (room number didn’t exist according to them, they sent a security guy for a stolen item when it was just forgotten) nothing was done even though they say they would check and bring it back to my room. They promised for the inconvenience $150 off my bill.
I had to sleep in my tee-shirts until the last day when I called again lost and found and they had my pyjamas.
At check out none of the Issues and promised refunds were noted, we had to explain everything again and try to get the refunds we were promised by their teams. It took us 45 min to negotiate under stress since we had to take a plane and they knew it.
