Overal we had a nice time and this hotel does not need to do much to sort itself out. I attach photos which relates to two points. Extra towels needed just to soak up a water leak from the shower. Everytime we showered it leaked out of the base
Other photo relates to the furniture which was the maindesk unit within the room. You can see rather than renewing it upon the refurb it has been botched up and touched in with paint (badly) . We also had curtains which would not close and he had maintenance out for all of this
We also paid extra for the premium LEVEL service. One of the benefits here is complimentary snacks/nibbles/ wine/sparkling fizz. Unfortunately the quality of this was just poor, constantly asking for more glasses. To be fair the staff were rushed off their feet so I dont blame them it can only be the management not staffing it correctly. I would prefer reduced timings for snacks but better and fresher snacks being delivered. 5pm -6pm they enhance the drink selection to include items such as Gin. That then drives a behaviour of many people scrambling for the enhanced items which then very quickly runs out and then you are waiting for glasses or wine to come out. One day I had to wait 10 mins for ice. Small things as my title suggests and easily fixed. LEVEL breakfast was poor. The LEVEL also requires you to wear one of these wrist bands which I do not like.
Entertainment was good. I did discuss all of this and I believe much is acknoledged so we will see...
