Just 2 miles away is the picturesque harbour town of Aberaeron, with independent shops and restaurants which use locally sourced ingredients. Inland, you can explore the lush Aeron Valley and visit the National Trust mansion at Llanerchaeron, enjoy a coffee and a cake here before taking a leisurely stroll back alongside the old railway path through beautiful woodland. Along the coast path, the beaches and coves at Cwm Tydu, Llangrannog, Tresaith and Aberporth are just a short distance away. Thrill-seekers should head to Llain Activity Centre for high ropes, archery, and climbing; or Adventure Beyond for coasteering, white water rafting and canoeing!

Nearby, you'll find the bustling little fishing village of New Quay with its sandy beaches, boat trips to see the dolphins, surfing and kayaking. To the south is the Teifi Valley, offering walking, kayaking and fishing in the river renowned for its sewin and salmon.
