Emplacement hotel à 3 mn de aya sofia centre historique très pratique. Personnel très pro et prévenant. Petits déjeuners riches et diners très bon rapport qualité prix, bonne cuisine. Concierge bien informé. Fête du nouvel an bien organisée, très plaisant pour personnes habituées à sortir en société. Solitaires s'abstenir. Nuisances sonores de nuit des ascenceurs et climatisateurs extérieurs. Gros problème de taille de couettes de lit beaucoup trop justes, demandez une seconde couette pour border.

Nous avions réservé 3 Chambres avec vue sur le Bosphore, nous étions au 1er étage, avec une vue sur le mur, derrière lequel est le Bosphore ! Dommage !!

Excellent séjour
L'hôtel est situé idéalement pour faire tous les sites touristiques à pied. Belle vue des terrasses. Petit déjeuner local exotique et sympathique. Literie parfaite, hotel silencieux. Le personnel est très accueillant. Nous avions demandé un lit king size, il n'y en avait plus. Le room service a refait les 2 lits jumeaux dans la foulée pour réponder au mieux à la demande.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Excellent petit dégeurner sur la terrasse avec une vue extraordinaire sur la Mosquée bleue.

Great location, great view from roof terrace
It's location is perfect, a short walk from the Haga Sofia and the sea, just inside the Byzantine walls. The breakfast and dinner on the roof terrace was great, the food was good but the view across the Borporus was fantastic. The staff were friendly and efficient. The wi-fi worked well in the room. We even got an early breakfast in the foyer because we were leaving very e arly. Can really recommend ths one.

Das Restaurant ist toll! Bei schönem Wetter auf der Terasse mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Grossartiges Frühstücks Buffet! Die Zimmer und das Hotel sind charmant und recht gut gelegen.

Great location, good hotel, but could improve
Spent two nights at Armada. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was good. Staff services was OK but could be improved. Room service requests were responded to slowly. In one case, they never responded! Would stay there again, but would look for better value elsewhere in same general location.

Gutes Hotel für Istanbulbesuch
Insbesamt eine nette Atmosphäre. Guter Service, Exzellentes Frühstück in 1a Lage - Terrasse mit Blick auf Bosperus und Hagia Sofia/Blaue Moschee. Zimmer nach hinten etwas klein. Das Badezimmer ist nicht auf dem neuesten Stand.

Location lets it down!
This is a pretty decent hotel in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul where most of the sights are. And whilst everything is within 10-15 minute walking distance, that walk is uphill on cobbled streets with little or no pavement. However, it does have wonderful views from the roof terrace (used for breakfast and dinner) and the rooms are of a reasonable size. The wi-fi frequently crashes but can be fixed by locating it on the ceiling of your particular corridor and unplugging and plugging it !

Short drive from hotel
Kumkapi district is full of fish restaurants and musicians playing in the streets. It has a unique atmosphere and is only a 5 minute taxi ride from the Armada Hotel. I would recommend the Kor Agop restaurant there for quality and price.
