Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort

Das Le Meridian war lange Zeit ein super Hotel der oberen Klasse mit entsprechenden Gästen. Leider hat sich das Publikum verändert und Pauschaltouristen füllen nun das Hotel. Zimmer sind bei Ankunft nicht bereit, die Sauberkait lässt zu wünschen übrig und das Personal an der Reception ist völlig überfordert. Mehr als drei Sterne können dem Hotel nicht mehr gegeben werden.

We used to come every year from 2004, but this year was last time. The contingent of hotel(guests) also alredy changed..... 1. forget welcome drink and everything... 2. uneducated staff, no language... 3. big problem, when check out... they try to pay with us a mini bar, that we didnt use.... we lost 30 minuts.... 4. on a beach no place in the morning...... beach chairs reserve for smb, but no people on it.....(in a rools reservation not allowed) 5. on a beach smell gazoline from beach activity 6. no change slippers! you must ask for it, and you will get one NOT NEW, alredy WASHABLE!

Hotel was great. No complaints at all. Staff were friendly and really helpful. Facilities were great. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

Could of done with more free drinking water. It is unsafe to drink the tap water in Phuket. You only get 2 free bottles water a day the rest you have to buy and it is expensive at the resort. Apart for that is a great place to stay.

Nice hotel, but many insects around. Had to switch out.

Half way through my stay the hotel painted the room next door which sent powerful fumes into my room. I was graciously upgraded from a garden to a sea view room. Then the trouble began. It was an adjoining room and my neighbors were a very loud family. For three straight nights, my TV went on automatically at 4:30 am. I reported this to the hotel staff twice and they assured me that nothing was wrong. After three straight unwanted wake up calls my restful Thai vacation was over.

We went for a few days for our honeymoon. If you want to go to Phuket for the beaches, this is perfect because there is a large, private beach. The bathrooms were old but the rooms were clean.

Great place to stay, friendly staff. Hotel with a lot of things to do.

スタッフの対応がとても親切なので驚きました。ホテルの中にプールやプライベートビーチがあるのでホテル内だけでも十分レジャーを楽しめます。 あと、タイのソンクランという祭日に行ったのですが、夜の食事がバイキング形式になっていて、ロブスターやカニなどの海鮮物から、ステーキなどのお肉類まで幅広い豪華な食事を、楽しいショーを見ながら満喫できました。 また、ホテル内のいろんな所にある、喫茶店やバーなどで注文を頼んだ時に、現金を持っていなくても部屋番号と名前とサインだけで後払いできるのも親切なシステムでした このホテルで良かったと本当に思いました。とても楽しい旅行になりました。

Overall, it was pleasant and satisfactory. However, we were slightly disappointed by the degree of attention with respect to certain matters. For example, upon check-in, we issued a credit card for incidentals and the like. The person who took down this information made a mistake by failing to write down the correct credit card number. This resulted in an unexpected letter from the hotel advising that our credit card was no good. We advised them of their error, which they corrected, but this caused unnecessary worry and time to rectify as we had to call our credit card company to ensure that there was nothing wrong with our credit card. We were advised by the hotel that they would not charge us for the phone calls since they were caused by the hotel worker's inattention. However, upon check-out, the hotel invoice still included charges for these phone calls. Eventually, the hotel corrected this error as well, but it caused us further unnecessary delay. We would expect the hotel and its staff to pay more attention to detail as part of our experience staying at a hotel of their caliber.
