Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers

The hotel was nice. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. It's not cheap at all, but if you are willing to spend a few extra bucks for comfort and good service this is the hotel for you.

Firstly many thanks for selling this hotel so cheaply 4 nights in 5* luxury for only £246 - simply fantastic. This hotel is in an amazing location along side the river, a complimentary boat takes guests to the Skytrain station which is the perfect mode of transport to get around bangkok, beats sitting in several traffic jams. Our room was spacious with two very comfortable double beds which had good quality bed linen. Slippers and robes were also provided for guest use. The bathroom was also spacious, plenty of hand towels and bath sheets were provided. Floor to ceiling window gave a wonderful view of the river. One minor issue was no plug socket close to the (full lenght) mirror. Swimming pool areas offered great service with comfotable beds, fluffy towels and parasols, the only down side was the price of drinks and food a diet cola was jsut under £4, we used the complimentary water provided in the room for which bar staff at the swim up bar were happy to provide us with large glasses of ice. Free internet is provided on the first floor for one hour per day, if you don't have your own laptop or ipad there are 6 terminals provided by the hotel, this is ideal for keeping in contact with home free of charge. On check in the receptionist gave us 3 keys - one each and the third one was for keeping in the switch which allowed the air conditioning to stay on so the room was always nice and cool when we returned, this was a big bonus. Found the staff to be very pleasant and obliging. Food was excellent Stayed here years ago - standard remains good

The staff are very friendly and helpful. You are made to feel very welcome. We opted for the tower suites again as were very impressed with the extras. We loved having the laundry included of 3 items for each person per day. Promptly brought back same day beautifully packaged and hung up for us. The impressive afternoon tea, and pre dinner drinks with snacks was very generous and appetising. Complimentry shuttle boat to rail not only convenient but entertaining. The only negative is that only 1 hour of internet use is included per day on their allocated computers. Why is wi fi not complimentary and available on your lap top or iphone in your room?

Lovely hotel, nothing to fault here! Fantastic views over the Chao Phaya river. The breakfast buffet was very expensive, although the food was good.

We got discounted price hence stayed here, but otherwise would've chosen somewhere more centrally located (closer to Siam Square), since this hotel is a bit far from BTS and MRT, and there's only Shuttle Boat to BTS every 30 mins (starting 10am). Breakfast was not included and very expensive (THB 700++ per person) hence didnt take it. Room is spacious, clean, and nice view overlooking Chaophraya river, very convenient for those taking the river cruise just next door!

After 3 weeks in Laos it was a treat to turn up at the Sheraton. We were upgraded so had a fantastic view. Pure luxury!
