the best hotel in Geneva
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in April 2013. Nice hotel. Great location. Very very clean. Will stay again and again.

Great Trip
Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Room was a bit small but very comfy. The location was perfect. In walking distance to everything. Bus station was just outside. Nothing but good things to say about my stay. Would def stay here again.

Easy Access and Amazing Staff
While we were surprised by how expensive Geneva was in general, our experience at Hotel Warwick was everything we could ask for. It was literally across the street from the train station where we arrived in the city, just five blocks from the water, and across the bridge from Old Town and all the shopping and restaurants within it. Due to the weather, we stayed in our room a considerable amount of time during our visit and appreciated the comfort it provided. We received free transportation vouchers, a discount on the delicious meals at the restaurant and enjoyed the privacy, quiet, and comfort that we wanted. All in all, it was truly enjoyable.

The hotel offered us free travel passes to use on all public transportation in Geneva. We didn't end up using these much, but it was nice to know we had the freedom to do so (and would have if we'd been there longer). The best part was that our trip to the airport was free with the passes - it was SO incredibly easy and a nice change from the $10, $20, $30 it cost to get to airports in other countries.

Good value
The room looked updated but at closer look it needed some upkeep. That said, it was a good value and for proximity to the train station, it was great. The bathroom was nice and updated and the lounge in the lobby was nice. Centrally located so nothing is too far of a walk. Liked that they offered a full service gym a few blocks away.

Good location in Geneva
The hotel is located within steps of the central train station. it is easy to catch either a local or international train. Busses and trollies also stop at the station, so you can catch transportation to any place near or far. Geneva is small enough that you can easily walk to any of the major attractions. The old town, about a kilometer away, has most of the tourist sights you will wish to see.

Short walk from hotel
Dining in Switzerland is extremely expensive. You can easily spend $40 for breakfast, $60 for lunch, and $200-250 for diner. McDonalds, just down the street, has burgers for $2-$3. A Big Mac type burger will run you more in the $12-$15 range. The local farmers markets are the best buys. You can get fresh produce, especially fruits, for verry much less than you pay for the same thing in the more expensive dining establishments.

Great getaway and centrally located
We were across from the train station and a central place for trams and buses so a little noisy but very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful with directions and maps. Next to the hotel there was also an underground shopping center with a wonderful grocery store. It stocked everything. We were close enough to walk to the shore of the lake and take ferry rides. We did have a white Christmas and a very enjoyable trip

Ask at the hotel for the closest shopping area. It took us three days to discover it was next to and under the hotel.

Devil's in the details...
We stayed the weekend. -our package included free movies; when informed that they weren't available/working, they did not offer compensation -when we finally got compensation in the form of a buffet b'fast, they had every intention of charging us for it -extremely slow restaurant service -wifi did not work, and they did not attempt to assist when we were having problems -room was clean, comfy, quiet, immaculately maintained -great location -excellent in providing directions around town and immediately gave us transport passes to the tram/bus/mouette (though, this required by law I think, and not something extra) -overall, they were poorly equipped/ready to deal with problems or unique situations the guest had and were not ready to cater to individual needs; if you do not deviate from what they offer, and have no problems with their amenities, you'll have a good experience

Great location right across from the railway station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was at the back and had a wonderful view of the lake and Jet d'Eau.
