Hotel Warwick Geneva

I found the hotel to be very nice. It was right across from the main train station and within walking distance to the lake and the old town. The area around the train station was a little seedy though. That would be my only complaint. The hotel staff was very friendly and offered tips about what to see and do. The room was nicely furnished and very clean. The room and bathroom were large by European standards.

It fit my needs perfectly. The staff was friendly, professional and efficient. The room was pleasant, clean, and welcoming.

While we were surprised by how expensive Geneva was in general, our experience at Hotel Warwick was everything we could ask for. It was literally across the street from the train station where we arrived in the city, just five blocks from the water, and across the bridge from Old Town and all the shopping and restaurants within it. Due to the weather, we stayed in our room a considerable amount of time during our visit and appreciated the comfort it provided. We received free transportation vouchers, a discount on the delicious meals at the restaurant and enjoyed the privacy, quiet, and comfort that we wanted. All in all, it was truly enjoyable.

The room looked updated but at closer look it needed some upkeep. That said, it was a good value and for proximity to the train station, it was great. The bathroom was nice and updated and the lounge in the lobby was nice. Centrally located so nothing is too far of a walk. Liked that they offered a full service gym a few blocks away.

Rapid check-in (even at 11am). Room was clean and well appointed. The first night the heat did not work and after two phone calls to the front desk I was visited by technician who said it would have to be looked at in the morning. He gave me extra blankets and I asked for a space heater - which after ten minutes he was able to find! The pay-per-view movie system did not work (even though my rate was supposed to give me 1 free movie a night) and once I cam back to find housekeeping had forgotten to put pillow cases back onto the pillows! All that being said, when I come back next month I will stay there because the location cannot be beat. Also, I saw someone have their purse stolen at the train station - NEVER put your stuff out of site or on the ground - especially near a train station/tourist attraction.

very handy location literally across the road from the main train station. Although from the outside the hotel looks very dated, the interior has been renovated and the room I stayed in, despite having the narrowest door I have ever seen, was a good standard and acceptable size. The only negative point for me that there were no facilities like gym or pool. Breakfast was in a nice airy room with a good choice.

Great hotel and not too expensive given the prices in Geneva! I really wasn't sure what to expect bc I though the reviews were a little mixed. Just stopped through for the night while on business and it was perfect. Close the lake and right next to the train station. Can walk everywhere. The room was also bigger than I expected, although I'm from the US, so everything seems tiny to me here. Free internet - always a plus. Really friendly people at the front desk and they all spoke English - another plus. The bathrooms were also nicely done, big for Europe and clean - that's always a sign of a good hotel. Enjoy!

The hotel is located directly across from the Cornavin station, which gives you access to the tram system, direct connection to the airport and it is walking distance to the lake. The rooms are big (for euro standards), very clean, modern. They have both wired and wireless complimentary internet service.

I flew in around 9am and took the train from the airport straight to the Hotel, located across the street from the train station. It is the first stop and a very short ride. The front desk allowed me to check in at 10am without any additional fees. That was a nice gesture. Right below the Hotel there is a shopping center where you can buy a bottle of water for 1 Franc vs 5 from the bar in the room. Location is great, close to a variety of restaurants, also a 10-15 min walk to get to the other side of the river where there is great shopping. Hotel has free Internet access in the lobby and room. The room has a US outlet for your laptop power adapter, just make sure it's 230V compatible. The walls are a little thin but not too bad. This is a great place to stay per price! You'll like it!

The hotel is located within steps of the central train station. it is easy to catch either a local or international train. Busses and trollies also stop at the station, so you can catch transportation to any place near or far. Geneva is small enough that you can easily walk to any of the major attractions. The old town, about a kilometer away, has most of the tourist sights you will wish to see.
