The hotel was fantastic. The room was clean, well stocked and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel has several great restaurants in it and is also located in an area that has a ton more restaurants that cater to any taste. Internet connection was quite speedy. There was even a 'pillow menu'. I would not stay anywhere else when visiting Singapore.

Intercontinental is a great hotel to stay, central location and connected to Bugis Shopping Center. The MRT is located just a short distance from the hotel. There is a food court for americanized foods or if you want some of the more traditional foods Clark Quay and Boat Quay are a short taxi ride away. Make sure try the Pepper Crab or Chile Crab. Singapore favorites and a Singapore Sling Chimes is a great location to watch an important football match (american or european) Chimes is an old convent converted into shopping center with great restaurants, bars and night clubs. The MRT is great way to escape the heat and get to your destination. best to go after the morning rush / lunch rush / and evening home from work schedules. Air conditioned and underground so its nice and cool for those not used to the humidity and heat.

A lovely hotel which lives up to its 5 stars. We stayed in a deluxe room which was clean and spacious - we had a non-smoking room booked and confirmed however on the day they only had a smoking room available which was a bit annoying. Didn't get to eat in the restaurant but it looks amazing and they have an extensive menu. Service was very good and if you want a nice luxury hotel I'd recommend this one.

excellent hotel in a nice location,staff was very friendly and helpful in answering my questions, I had a very good time in singapore till the morning when I checked out,call the front desk to send someone up to carry my lugguage down, waited for almost 20 minutes,still no one,called again,finally said they will check to see,called back in about 10 mins and said someone will be coming up,when he showed up I asked were they busy, he said no, obviouly someone is not doing a good job on passing the message, had it not be this incident, I would give the staff 5 star, time is very important for someone who has to check out to go to the airport on time.

This Four Seasons is certainly worthy of their "Number 1 in the World, Hotel Chain" status and did nothing but impress my wife and I for the short 2 day stay. It was a bit pricey, but compared to some fo the others in Singapore, was the best deal for the lenght of stay. Definitely no complaints here!

Once again another very pleasant stay at the InterContinental Hotel. They did the 'up-sell' when we checked-in for the Business Package, which included use of their Business Club which served very nice meals throughout the day. The only problem was when we went to breakfast on the second morning there was not enough space and we had to go downstairs to the normal restaurant. Although this was not an issue the Hotel did sell us an 'expectation' which they were unable to fulfil which was unfortunate. That being said, the rest of the stay went without a hitch and we'll definitely be back.

The hotel is located in a very busy, but also very convenient, location..sort of one stop shopping. A multitude of local restaurants are located in the vicinity, but be very very aware of the traffic. It is horrendous, as are the crowds in general.The Bugis Junction Mall is outside the hotel's doors and is a very popular shopping place for Singaporeans. You want it, they've got it somewhere in that mall. Again, the crowds are overwhelming, especially on Saturday. If you have time and a Singaporean acquaintance, go to Sentosa park. It is sort of the Disney Park of Singapore. The cable car ride was great, the Sounds of the Sea a spectacular laser show...but be prepared to get wet, as the lasers are projected onto water spraying into the air and when the wind shifts... The hotel's renovation is still continuing and this tends to make for a very noisy stay.There were an almost continuing series of drilling, sawing and clunking noises as the door locks, plumbing and ?? were changed. But to the hotels great credit, the staff was superb, eager to please and some of the most helpful that I have encountered in all my travels. I wish every hotel had that staff!

We had a wonderful stay. The Hotel is ideal in all respects, especially after we upgraded to include inernet use and access to their CLUB LOUNGE for breakfast, tea & pasteries and evening snacks. I'm not sure why using Orbitz to book our stay caused us to pay an additional 10% for a "booking fee," but even with this extra, all was wonderful for myself, wife and 22 year-old daughter.
