Millennium Bailey's Hotel London Kensington

Nice size rooms for London. Beds were super comfy after a long day of touring the city. lots of pubs and breakfast spots right by the hotel. we never ate at the hotel restaurant though we did use the bar occasionally. concierge was very helpful. hotel is right outside the gloucester tube station so that was very easy access to london. a short walk to the v&a museum, a little further(but we like to walk)to hyde park. kensington is a great area to stay, outside the bustle of the busy parts of the city, but close enough to get to by tube.

This hotel continues to improve in every way. The service was exceptional and the room was immaculate and very comfortable. The hotel has improved dramatically since I stayed there five years ago. I would strongly recommend it!

Really good location - excellent staff but 20 pounds for each 24 hours of in room internet access is a bit steep.

the room was tiny, the floorboards noisy, the hot water cold........ wouldn't recommend room 229 to anyone

Room was so small that there was no place to open my suitcase. Closet contained only 4 hangers. I requested a smoking room but the entire property is non-smoking. Location is within walking distance to Harrods and museums; tube station directly across the street.

Kettle provided I had to use on the floor, the shower did not provide hot water until maintenance was called out.

We could not have been happier with this hotel. Where breakfast was not included in our room rate, this did not matter. The number of lovely cafes and eateries in the area to choose from made no inclusion of the meal a bonus. The proximity to the tube was fabulous and it was an easy distance to Hyde Park for a morning run or stroll. Would definitely stay here again.

the hotel was very good however one point i would make is that it is overdue for interior decoration.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the LOCATION. The location was great directly off the Glouster Rd stop on the London underground. Literally you exit the train station and the hotel is right there. This is one of the oldest hotels in London, which is one reason that I booked the hotel. I was looking for a nice, older hotel with great English charm -- but instead this hotel is just OLD! There were cracks and holes in the wall and the lights in the room were not so bright. I think they didn't want you to be able to see how the room really would look with bright lights on! The bed was comfortable, and the bedding seemed clean...but I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in this room. I was wondering what might crawl through a crack or how many dust bunnies were living in the carpet. The bathroom was really old and you had to flush twice.

Perfect location right across from Gloucester Road tube station. Room small - bathroom very small! - , but everything clean and cosy. Staff welcoming and friendly.
