praktisch und gut erreichbar gelegen
Kombination geschäftlich und privat. Hotel nicht ganz im Zentrum aber sehr gut erreichbar und Bus/Taxi gleich vorm Haus. Verhältnismässig grosses Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal mit 24h Service.

Great Local Hotel
The hotel is in a great location in Haymarket. It's 2 blocks from the train station and taxis, a half hr walk to all the Royal Mile (touristy stuff), and within easy walking distance to lots of pubs and restaurants. The hotel staff was amazing! They were really attentive and helpful with giving directions. It's in a quiet location by a suburb area. The rooms were a good size, but the bed was too

I suggest going to the The Mercat Bar & Restaurant. Graham (the owner) is incredibly friendly! It's a cute local restaurant with a whisky bar and lounge downstairs. It's definitely the place to go for good food and whisky. And if you like restaurants with very few tourists and more locals then this is the spot.

Americans in Edinburgh
We just spent 4 nights at this hotel. The location was perfect and we were able to walk or catch a bus to all city sites and attractions. Reasonably priced, room was clean and plenty of space for the both of us. The staff was very pleasant and helpful with suggestions for sight seeing. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and families.

First Time in Scotland
Nice, but...
Generally, this was a very peasant hotel, and would most likely stay again, the lack of any temperature control made it uncomfortable for sleep as the days got warmer. Our window only opened an inch and a half, which allowed pretty much no air movement, especially after the housekeeping staff kept closing it! The small oscillating fan just didn't help much.

Visit Home
Friendly and helpful staff. Room a little on the small side but clean, warm and comfortable. Excellent location for us as very close to Haymarket station and also only a 15 minute walk from Princes Street. Food and drink prices in the hotel are expensive compared to other local bars and restaurants. However, as Edinburgh is my home town I know where to go and where not to go. Would I stay there again? Yes!

The Hotel was very nice, The reception
The Hotel was very nice, The reception people were very nice and helpful and the service was good - cleaning the room everyday, tea and cookies etc... and the cute duck in the bathroom :) I stayed there for 2 weeks and It have a great location - 2 min from the haymarket station and 10 min from princess street. I enjoyed my time there and the free wifi that was great! the room is small but it dosent matter becasue they have a lot to offer. very recommended!

The Apex was a very friendly hotel,
The Apex was a very friendly hotel, the breakfast was really nice with a lot of choice, rooms were big and clean , me and my family enjoyed our stay, it was about a 5 minute bus ride into the centre of Edinburgh
