Winston Churchill Hotel Prague

Hotellin antama kuvaus ei pidä olleenkaan paikkaansa, tähtiä ei kahta enempää missään tapauksessa. Sijainti erittäin huono. Hotellissa niin pieni aamiaistila, että joinakin aamuina piti seisoa, kahvi ja muut aamiaistarpeet loppu koko ajan. Respassa joku paikalla vain muutaman tunnin päivässä, ei karttoja eikä kielitaitoista (englanti) henkilökuntaa edes välttävästi. Henkilökunta erittäin ynseätä. Huoneissa ei luvattuja palveluita.

Such a warm and friendly hotel. The outside of the hotel is very uninspiring – it could do with a proper sign so it looks like a hotel and not a place of residence. However, the hotel was the perfect place for us to stay. The rooms were large and warm with a kettle so we could make hot drinks. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of meats, cheeses and rolls. The reception staff could not be more helpful and friendly, and interested in their guests. They booked tours, concerts and meal reservations for us. They suggested places to visit and told which buses/trams and metros to take. We spent a lovely day at the zoo, a place we had not expected to visit and very beautiful in the snow. They looked after our luggage for us on the last day we should have been there, and were pleased to see us again when we rebooked into the hotel for another night after the snow cancelled our flight. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not right in the centre of Prague, but within walking distance or easily accessible by public transport. We hope to be able to visit Prague again to see the sights in the spring, and hope to be able to book accommodation at this hotel again.

Good basically furnished friendly hotel. Excellent value for money. The location is within walking distance from the hotel but at night it doesn't feel a very safe route. I would certainly warmly recomend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague.
