Prague Hotel
We booked this hotel for the last leg of our journey mainly because they advertised that they had an airport shuttle and they served breakfast. They failed to mention that they charge 650 crowns for the shuttle and the breakfast started at 7am after I had to catch my flight. I ended up spending my last night figuring out how to use the subway and buses to get to the airport. Its a nice hotel otherwise. Internet at this hotel is wired only and it is very expensive. Every other hotel we stayed at on our trip had free wi-fi. I won't stay at this hotel again for the above reasons.

Not so well located but friendly staff
The Hotel is a little far from Old Town and all the turisty places but is easily reachable by tram. The rooms are modest but have all the basicas. Super small Bathroom tough. The staff was very kind and helpful

Ordinary Place for a great value
The hotel was okay, and a great value. It was on a quiet street, yet close to the main train station, several grocery stores and some bars. Ammentities were pretty standard of most American hotels. My only complaint was that the place seemed a bit run down. However, everything worked fine.

Zentrum durch Straßenbahn in 10
Zentrum durch Straßenbahn in 10 Minuten erreichbar, Hotelparkplatz teuer (450 Kr / Tag), aber es gibt nahe gelegenen bewachten Parkplatz für 120 Kr / Tag. Teilweise sehr gute und nützliche Tipps vom Personal an der Rezeption. Betten mit guten (harten) Matratzen, Ausstattung des Zimmers sehr gut. Qualität des Frühstücks in Ordnung.

Better than expected
The Carlton is an attractive hotel with reasonably large, well-furnished rooms in a beautiful and friendly city. I especially appreciated the free internet. At first they claimed to not have a U.S. power adaptor, but one turned up the second time I asked. The free breakfast buffet was ample but so-so in quality; set your expectations low and and you should be content. My wake up call never happened, so be sure to set your own alarm (always a good idea). The location is a fair distance from the main tourist areas (~10 minutes by tram), which might be a concern for some. But the distance didn't bother me and I appreciated the quiet. Just buy the 24-hour pass (now 100 Kc) and hop on the trams or metro. To get to the hotel, I recommend saving some money by taking the 119 Bus to Dejvicka (20 min) followed by the 26 tram to Lipanska (24 mins). Their transportation system is extremely reliable - their schedules were accurate to the minute.

There are several decent restaurants in the area (Sklep, Cool) at a fair price because you are removed from the main tourist areas. There is also a mall (Flora) nearby with a food court.
