Best Western Hotel Pav

The staff at Best Western PAV were very friendly & helpful. The rooms are clean, the bathroom being exceptionally so. Shower only which didn't bother us. Breakfast OK, good enough considering the value for money. The hotel is centrally located for easy walking to all the major attractions. View from the Powder Gate tower is cheaper - and better in our opinion!

Advantage: clean, good location, good breakfast. Diadvantage: Some room did not have wireless internet, they shut off the heater from 23:00-06:00 which I always awake by the " cold "

It started out when I booked my room online and also the hotel transfer. I paid for the room online but there wasn't any way to pay for the transfer - only to book the transfer. When I got to the hotel, they tried to make me pay the higher fee and even more than that because I was using a Credit Card. They asked me for the confirmation and what I showed them didn't have a PAID confirmation on it. After much arguing, they finally realized that there is no way to pay for the transfer up front online. Then, after I checked out of my room, they sent me an email stating that I did $270 USD of damage to their Luggage Rack. I did NOT do any damage to their room. I can't imagine how a 50lb suitcase could do that much damage to a luggage rack so I asked for pictures. The pictures don't even show my room and the luggage rack was moved several times from the different shots taken. It is obviously faulty furnisher because from the pictures, it was held together by one 1 screw!! The rest was glued! And I KNOW there wasn't any damage to anything because I took pictures of the room before and after! I'm still in dispute with the credit card company. Advice: Pay with Cash when staying here. The price is okay but they will try to screw you any way possible!

Incredibly central location for the hotel. Never knowing where we go for the first time we found a city and the hotel is very successful. Location was amazing. The hotel is in a quiet street but a 15-20 minutes walk from anywhere. With a modern and friendly staff, clean hotel. We would recommend to everyone.

It is a decent hotel, very well located in the New Town. Unfortunately, every morning there was no hot (or even warm) water in the shower and one evening I run into the same problem. The staff was helpful, I even received a bottle of good sparkling wine as a compensation for the inconvenience, but the problem with the water was not fixed. Breakfast quite good, the room was clean and nice.
