Barcelo Old Town Praha

Bel hôtel bien situé et cependant au calme. le confort , la superficie des chambres sont très satisfaisants , c'est dommage qu'il aient cédé eux aussi à cette mode des moquettes vites et irrémédiablement tachées.

magnifiquement situé au coeur de la vieille ville, hôtel très agréable, récemment refait, très bien insonorisé; personnel adorable et petit déjeuner buffet pantagruelique et délicieux.

Stayed for three nights in December. The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the old town. The rooms are big and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was very good.

Upon our evening arrival we were informed there was no room available, since there was "a water problem." We were asked to stay in a neighboring hotel for one of the four nights booked (and prepaid). We noticed numerous guests returning to their rooms and could only conclude that the hotel had sold our room out from under us, presumably at a higher price than was paid through Orbitz. I should note that nothing was put in writing; no bill was provided by the other hotel; the invoice sent to Orbitz incorrectlly indicated all four nights were spent at the Barcelo. We also should note that the hotel is very noisy. It is located in the center of the tourist district, so there is considerable street noise.

I loved staying in this hotel. It's all renovated and clean and awesome. Just there in downtown Prague. You can walk everywhere and enjoy the charming streets and people in Prague, We loved this city and this hotel. Wish I had stayed more days.

The Old Barcello hotel has an excellent location in the heart of old Prague and 20 minutes walk from the main railway station. It also offers really nice breakfast included in the price. We booked it for 2 days but it was overbooked for the first night and we were sent to another hotel. However the reservation manager was really nice about it and to compensate us for the first night they upgraded us to a grand suite for the following night and allowed us to stay extra half a day for no extra cost. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again if I visit Praque in the future.

We had a wonderful trip! Prague is beautiful. My daughter and I had a great time walking all over Prague. The location of the hotel could have not been any better. We were in the heart of everything, yet just ouside enough not to be in the crowd. And the breakfast was some of the best meal we had in Prague.
