Bruyant (beaucoup de bruit de circulation). Bon petit-déjeuner. Accueil très froid.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and found it acceptable. However, this time the lack of Service or lack of enthusiasm for their job, no soap in the room, noise level et al made it a trip to forget. As they could not find my reservation even with the confirmation number, the clerk continually ignored me or walked off anytime someone else approached or asked a question. As a result of a 30 minute check-in at the counter, I was late for my dinner reservation. No mention of parking or breakfast the girl seemed to not like her job. No soap in the room and incredibly loud group at 5 am made the stay a disaster. Unfortunatly service is not a top priority at several Netherlands Hotels. I will be trying another venue next time.

According to typical American standards, the size of the room was smaller, but was clean and in good working order. The staff was as good or above what I have experienced in our USA travel.

We made a reservation about 5 months ahead of our arrival. The Hotel gave us a room right next to the hotel gym and the public restrooms on the top floor. That was only the beginning. When we entered our room we found it to be extremely hot (probably about 30C). We tried to turn the AC on, but it didn’t work. When we told the clerk about the problem he made some calls but then said there is nothing he can do until Monday. Considering it was Saturday evening and we only supposed to stay for 1 night, it did not do us any good to wait until Monday. The clerk at the front desk refused to give us another room. So we went back to the room, and found BED BUGS right on the curtains. We went downstairs and told clerk about the problem. He said he will come up to take a look. He came up, looked at the bed bugs, turned around and left the room. After we got over the disgust of seeing the room infested with the bugs, we went to see where the clerk went. He was nowhere to be founds. There was another clerk who refused to tell us his name and put his hand over his name tag when we inquired about it! At this point, it had turned comical, and nothing surprised us. Finally after another 15 minutes the first clerk appeared. We requested a different room, but he said there were none available for us. We told him he needs to help us to locate another room in the city. He reluctantly did so, and could only find a hotel 5 or 6 km outside of the city. We were here to see the city and had no transportation to be 5 km outside of the city! We then asked for the money back and we would find our own room ourselves. He refused to give us back any money. So we just got up and left. Nobody should ever stay in this hotel, unless of course you want BEDBUGS and to live without A/C.

My husband and I were taking my parents in their 80s to visit our daughter at university in Maastricht and so needed somewhere central to stay. On our arrival the reception staff were very welcoming and gave helpful information about parking locally. Our rooms, accessed by lift, were very comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfasts were fantastic - freshly prepared fruit salad, yogurts, cereals, many different kinds of bread and rolls as well as croissants, jams, cold meats, cheeses and salmon, scrambled eggs, bacon and individually cooked fried eggs, fruit juices, teas and coffee. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely choose this hotel again.

The perfect Hotel, as well as they speak varios languages at reception! Breakfast is very good and staff very friendly!
