Banks Mansion Hotel Amsterdam

From the moment I arrived I was impressed! My flight had arrived early and I was exhausted. The staff quickly made sure i got a room and was able to rest. The bed was so comfortable. Down blankets and pillows. The bathroom was beautiful. Complimentary liquor in the room free of charge. Unlimited access to food and drink. Wi-fi internet was free. Within walking distance to all nightlife and clubs. Great shopping in the daytime and wonderful places to eat. Fantastic breakfast in the morning if your able to get up early enough. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Gave great directions and suggestions on places to visit and eat. Beautiful sitting area with scenic view of canals. I cant wait to come back here again. It was FANTASTIC!!!

Can't think of anything negative to say about this hotel. Great location, good service, comfortable clean room, breakfast included along with appetizers, all drinks (wine!) and mini bar is included as well. Great to relax in the lobby with snacks (cheese, sausage, pate) and nice wine. I was looking to stay somewhere more authentic like a canal house, but this hotel offered so much and was so nice to come home to ....... and the bed was so comfy.....very very nice.

All other hotels should take not of how to run a hotel from the Banks Mansion: 24/7 access to food and internet included in the room, helpful and friendly staff, and an amazing location within walking distance to everything! Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Hotel staff were very helpful right from our arrival. We checked in early and they got our room ready as soon as possible. The bedding and pillows were all duck down, which I am alergic to and they came and changed them immediately. The all inclusive policy is a lovely touch they will even lend you an i pad2 to use during your stay!

Put lipskick on a pig and it's still a pig! Nice older redone property. Upon arrival found bathroom sink clogged and would not flow. For 3 days staff made excuses that they could not find maintenance man (but would get on from another property if necessary) and sent a sucession of dest clerks to verify it was still clogged. Manager never returned message left for him. Not a pleasant stay!

We loved the "all-inclusive" concept and hope it will catch on with other hotels in this chain. We met so many people staying at the hotel since the open bar and snacks brought people to socialize and linger in the "living room" area. The staff was fantastic, the breakfast was delicious, the room was large and comfortable, and the hotel is centrally located. Slightly more expensive than other hotels but the extras and the comfortable atmosphere more than made up for it!

Excellent hotel would definitely recommend. Added bonus with free refreshments in lobby and room.

The all-inclusive feature (breakfast, snacks, drinks) of this hotel made it a splurge, but it really enhanced our stay. Central sights were all within a reasonable walk and the staff was friendly and more than willing to assist with suggestions, directions, dinner reservations, etc.

The hotel was very nice and clean, free breakfast in the morning was very fresh. I only wish the front doors were not locked after dark or someone was constantly at the front desk to open them. The location was great as well.

Great hotel in a convenient location - easy for tram stops to take you wherever you need to go in the city. Complimentary drinks and snacks were a great feature - perfect for a nightcap. Have stayed in many hotels in Amsterdam and would definitely stay here again.
