Great Location - but service is something to be desired
The location is fantastic. The room was clean and beautiful. Good food. Beautiful beach. Heated Pool. My big con was the staff at the front desk. I checked in early. I left instructions for them to give the room key to my friend who was scheduled to arrive later in the day. I gave them his name and cell phone number. When he arrived - it was apparent the hotel had lost the instructions or hadn't communicated them to the next shift. They spent 30 minutes interrogating my friend! Besides the check-in situation - it was a fantastic 3 days at Oceano.

Tony's Restaurant is a short distance away on the beach. The servers are great. We at there several times.

Nice Hotel at an Excellent Rate
The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff keeps the pool area clean and free from vendors. The beach is steps away. Check-in and checkout was quick and easy. I hope to return soon.

EXTREMELY HARD BEDS
That is one of the worst hotel experiences I have endured. The Beds are literally as hard as the floor. Hard mattress, no box spring, sitting on concrete slabs. I requested that the staff do something, the reply was: " beds are all the same, very HARD" If you want to sleep at all, do not stay there.

A great holiday!
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was always kept clean and tidy. Food at the restaurant was top-notch and the entertainment was enjoyable. I would stay there again.

Nice 3-star hotel.. Nice pool,views,staff,location-within walking distance of many fine restuarants. Would go again..

Great Vacation
Stayed at Ocen Palace and had a great time, ocean view from the room and the restaurant/bar/beach is great.... the brunch was delicious and very affordable. would definitely stay there again,

Rent a car while going to Mazatlan, the main strip is only 14 miles and it is only one road.... you will spend more in taxis than the rental.

Wonderful getaway with lots to do
Hotel room was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The location was within 10 minutes walking to shopping and restaurants. A wide selection of restaurants made it a little difficult to choose. A short taxi ride to the malecon where there was more shopping, restaurants, and a spectacular view of the city coastline. Overall a wonderful experience.

dissapointed on how long it took to clean pool after seeing vomit in pool. Also dissapointed that hotel did not have enough remote control for tv and irons for the room. Food buffet was excellent and employees were very friendly.

Average Getaway
The accomadation were clean, well looked after. Location, a little out of town, but no problems with with transportation, bsses every 5 minutes, very little wait, to and from town, at any time. The view was excellent couldent get better. The staff was great, willing to help at anything, and very well english spoken.
