L'hôtel se trouve dans le sud de la péninsule de Baja California, là où la mer de Cortèze et l'océan Pacifique se rejoignent. Réputée comme étant l'une des destinations préférées des golfeurs et des amateurs de pêche, cette péninsule est une enclave au milieu du désert de la Baja California, bordée de plages encore sauvages. L'établissement se trouve entre San José del Cabo et Cabo San Lucas, à 15 min seulement des attractions naturelles de Los Cabos.
Equipement:
Cet hôtel de bord de mer climatisé compte 302 chambres, dont 8 suites Junior et 7 suites Master, réparties sur 7 étages. L'hôtel dispose d'un salon de coiffure, d'un bar, d'un restaurant, d'un service de chambre et de blanchisserie ainsi que d'un parking et d'un garage.
Chambres:
Les belles chambres ainsi que les grandes suites Junior et Master sont équipées d'un balcon ou d'une terrasse avec vue panoramique, d'une salle de bain en marbre avec sèche-cheveux, d'une ligne téléphonique directe avec port de données, de la télévision par câble et satellite, d'un mini bar/réfrigérateur ainsi que d'un coffre-fort à serrure électronique. Les suites Master possèdent en plus un jacuzzi extérieur.
Sport/Animations:
Une piscine de plein air et un court de tennis se trouvent sur le domaine. Pour vous divertir, vous avez la possibilité de pratiquer la pêche en haute mer, le golf, de faire du quad, du snorkeling ou encore du ski nautique. Un programme d'animation vous est également proposé.

Great Value in Cabo
Being that I have been on many all inclusive Mexican getaways, I kinda know what to expect. The Melia is certainly an exceptional value if you are able to get a "deal". It is not a 5 Star hotel, but the staff truly treats it as one. The food was well above average, and drinks were also the same. Not too much to change in the hotel, it is what it is--a 3.5 to 4 star hotel that will not sway from that

If you like Red Bull and vodka, buy red bulls from the gift shop and mix your own drinks with the vodka from the bars. It is pretty decently priced at the gift shop

Best all inclusive resort in cabo
This was our 4th time visiting the resort, we are never the slight bit disappointed. All staff is friendly and always ready to get you a drink. Very large pool, hot tub, and just steps to the ocean. Tremendous variety of food, each day. We'll definitely continue to visit each year!!

THIS IS A PERFECT PLACE FOR A WEDDING. THE WEDDING PLANNER TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING FROM THE REHEARSAL & DINNER & BONFIRE ON THE BEACH, WEDDING ON THE BEACH PLUS DINNER & DANCING ON THE BEACH. aLL WE HAD TO DO WAS SHOW UP. EVERYTHING WAS KEEP CLEAN AT ALL TIMES, THEY REALLY TOOK CARE OF YOU

This is a great place. The grounds and rooms are well maintained and the staff is excellent. The only negative was the really firm beds.

Exceeded expectations!
Excellent vacation experience. A very relaxing, carefree time away. The most excellent food - ever! and tons of it - good drinks too. Nightly live and unusual entertainment (laser harp!). Negatives ?- the rooms can be very noisy, we moved from a front facing garden room (highway noise) to a rear garden room - still noisy as the service lane was constantly used, and they used rattly shopping carts to move stuff (suggestion: use golf cart type vehicles) and the generators from the Hilton next door was located there also. The other problem is the distance from the beach is quite far, and the Melia palapas and chairs aren't located for good ocean views either.... we love lounging on the beach and watching the ocean all day, and it was hard to do (suggestion: provide umbrellas and chairs to check out, similar to towel check out). Otherwise a wonderful, exceptional place.

Not too big, not too small
The resort was clean and staff was friendly. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with the sewage pipes which was right outside our window so we could not enjoy the balcony due to the smell. We had stayed two weeks which was a little too long because the food was becoming monotonous and entertainment did not change. The location was great and it was economical. I liked the smaller size of the resort - we were not overrun by spring breakers. We were married at the resort and the wedding planners were very helpful and friendly - the only negative thing about our wedding is that there was another ceremony before ours - the resort had stated in their wedding packages that they only book one wedding a day which did not happen in our case.

3rd time and still wonderful
Melia Cabo Real is amazing......I absolutely love it there. The staff, Melina, Adriana, Eduardo, Jesus they are great!! It is located half way between the airport and downtown, the bus station is right across the street, the food is amazing...I could go on and on. Ask for the egg crate for your bed, it helped me TREMENDOUSLY!!! Thank you Melia Cabo Real for a WONDERFUL VACATION!!

Beautiful, all inclusive, great for families
The Hotel is Beautiful, the pool is wonderful, Very clean, Friendly staff BUT when we got there they had over booked the Hotel so they had to put us up in another hotel for one night, then the rest of the trip they upgraded our room, from a partial view to an ocean view, they did offer us free massages but didn't have time. Our second day I got hurt and sprained my knee. The elevators were broken the whole trip - 5 days, we had to go up and down 5 flights of stairs for breakfast, lunch and dinner and any other activities. Food was just okay, plus they have 3 nice restaurants. You better have lots of pesos for Taxi's, downtown is about a $ 25.00 fee EACH way. and if you go more then one day it adds up, there is no shuttle. Even to the their own golf course is $ 10.00 each way($20.) Good drinks tho!!
