Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Excellent. The Hotel service was great and the staff was outstanding. Overall the experience was superb.

Great hotel, walking distance to the Petronas twin towers and some good restaurants.

只可惜房間有些太小了，不過作為一個城市裡的酒店房間，好像也不能太奢望它能夠很大，不過以行政房來說，我還是覺得小了點，而且minibar的選擇我仍然覺得太少了一點。總之，如果是standard room就OK，如果是行政房，就令人有些小小的失望。

We have been several times to Shangri La Hotels, this was not an exception, Great hotel! Great breakfast Buffet! Best Ever probably.... View of the PEtronas is not the best in town. You see them from 1 side, so you just see one of them. If you are into trendy and more modern hotels. try the TRADERS HOTEL, sister hotel to Shangri La. Has a front view of Petronas, and a very trendy SKY BAR. Shangri La is just 1 block from Petronas, so location wise for shopping is great.

Very lovely hotel - it was our honeymoon and on both occasions the staff were kind enough to upgrade our rooms!!!! Excellent service, will stay there again for sure.

Shangri'la Hotel maintains it excellant standard of customer service,which is why I return when I visit Kuala Lumpur.

Overall, it was a good experience.

As with most SL's, this was immaculate. Stayed in room 1313 and was asked nicely by the check in lady if that was alright. Double neg = positive, right? It was a corner room with a sliver view of the Petronas tower. Unfortunately a building was blocking the most of the view. Everything inside the room was clean and luxurious, but the pillow smelled like a wet dog. It was not strong enough to warrant a call to the front desk, but still a bit disgusting. The pool was smaller than expected, but was salt water based which was nice to the eyes. Gym was HUGE and the men's locker room had amenities you would expect from a private gym. Spent 30mins laying on the massage chair, then popped into the hot sauna, then steam room, then hot tub. Felt nice after a long day around KL. Other than the smelly pillow, the decor was a bit tired. I'm in my early 30's so maybe it didn't suit my taste. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurants, so can't comment there. Breakfast changeover is at 11am, so be mindful of that. 10min or less walking distance to Petronas Tower, which was convenient. And if you plan on going during F1/Easter, be prepared to pay a premium on EVERYTHING. Supply/Demand. Overall would love to stay again, given the comparison rates to other "five star" hotels around, this was by far the most affordable.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything we wanted was available. The only problem was one day our room was not serviced as there was a problem with the do not disturb light outside the door. We had a few problems getting more toilet paper and clean towels. It took 3 phone calls before we managed them. The horizon club was an excellent facility within the hotel. Have stayed there before and we will stay there again.
