Chisun Hotel Ueno Tokyo

Un bon hôtel avec un personnel accueillant et d'une propreté à toute épreuve. Ma chambre était assez grande selon les standards japonais et confortable. Seul bémol la télévision était petite et l'écran pas terrible. Second bémol, la fenêtre opaque qui ne laissait pas passer beaucoup de jour. Le quartier est très tranquille et la station JR d'Ueno se trouve à 8 minutes de marche.

Personnel assez froid et pas tres serviable, chambre tres petite et sentant le tabac. nous ne reviendrons pas

Excellent hotel pour Tokyo. Situé à 2 minutes à pied de la station de metro inarichio. Quartier très calme et agréable bien que situé au coeur de la ville. Tout Tokyo est accessible facilement depuis cet endroit. Chambre très bien tenue bien que petite. Acceuil très agréable. Restaurant au pied de l'hotel très peu cher et très pratique. Vraiment parfait...

About 8 minutes from the station. For people looking to beat the morning JR rush to Narita - it's a good spot since you can avoid all that and head for Skyliner. This is my second stay there. I noticed that 3 months later - the staff provides paper map for how to get to their hotel which is awesome. It is still a bit difficult to locate at night but with the hand map it's easier. Definitely an improvement. It would help if their maps featured locations of nearby stores and restaurants on streets for travellers with *open* hours marked for late comers. This would add big value to offset the slight disadvantage of the hotel's location. It would help repeat business if people could be sure that no matter what time they get there, they can always find a nearby place to eat, etc. All it takes is to map out the locations. I hope the staff can take these ideas into consideration as it can boost their business.

About 10 minutes of walk from the UENO station once you know where to find the hotel. It's easier to find at night than during daylight - look up to see the lit up sign hovering over other buildings. Entry comes from a quiet side street - nice entrance with staircase but too little advertising to indicate there is even a hotel. Room size was typical for under 100 USD. Bathroom was clean. Could use digital safe but for the price - very good value. Given the price and station location (quick to airport or any part of Tokyo), I'll definitely consider staying there again in the future.

Very handy for underground and for Ueno and Asakusa markets. Ten minutes from central Tokyo. Watch out for specials in restaurant - only one a month and at lunch time. Restaurant only open for breakfast and lunch but many restaurants close by.

THE HOTEL CHISUN UENO IS LOCATED AT UENO STATION SO IT IS VERY PRACTICAL TO GO EVERYWHERE IN TOKYO BY TRAIN. ALSO THERE IS A ZOO VERY CLOSE(10 MIN.WALK) TO HOTEL. EVERYBODY SHOULD SEE THE PANDA AND OTHER JAPANESE SPECIAL ANIMALS. THE HOTEL IS GOOD TO STAY.

I liked it. Within ten minutes walk of Ueno station and the Ueno Park next door to the station. There is a zoo and a museum also in the Ueno Park area. Inside the single room is pretty small. You have the bed, t.v., bench, shower & toilet and very narrow carpet space but overall it was a comfortable night.

Just take Keisei Ueno line and it is very walkable place(8-10 min). It also close to Ginza line. It is located in old Japanese atomosphere with few min from Shitaya Shrine. There, I found Sento in neighborhood!! It is rare. Great place to walk Ueno museums(Great for kids). Only two stops to Asakusa temple. And there are a plenty of restaurants. Also 24 hr convini/mini-mart is just right there. There are Matsuzakaya department store for shopping foods through interesting Ameyoko Dori. Clean and bright room. Very nice people too.
