Amadeus Hotel Venice

We were there for two nights, and the locaiton was perfect! A short walk from the bus terminal made a water taxi unnecessary. The room was older (as most are in Venice) but clean and well-provisioned. While we were there, the porcelain soap dispenser broke off the wall. Before lunch, the maid had found it, the fragment was removed, and the wall was re-tiled. This is an example of great service, when stuff goes wrong.

We got a good impression when we walked in to the lobby, but our room and bathroom were outdated and it looked more like a motel then a 4 star hotel. The elevator was carpet and only 2 average size people fit in sideways. The room was a good size and clean but the bathroom needed remodeling, the counter was falling and the walls had mold on them. The breakfast was good, its 5 min walk to the train station and walking distance to all the tourist sites, has lots of stores for shopping and dinning options around the area. Another big disappointment was there was no interenet in the hotel and we could get service from the hotel next door but we had to pay 6 euros for 30 mins. The staff was not very helpful and their english was not that great.

A wonderful experience at a lovely hotel

This hotel was located close to the train and bus stations. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The room was very comfortable. The walk to St. Mark's Square was enjoyable, or you can take a water bus. The price was very reasonable...What more can you ask for?! Free wi-fi would have been nice.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, good location. Definitely recommended. Close to the train station and bus station and about a half hour walk to the famous San Marco Square.

駅近で、朝食もおいしく豪華であった。観光するには、便利な場所です。

We choose this hotel because of its location near Piazzale Roma and the train station. The room was comfortable and well kept. There were several nice restaurants nearby and the vaparetto stop was only a couple of blocks away. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Great coffee. If you are going to use the vaparetto, it is easy to get to and from the Piazzale Roma and there is a bus to the airport from there. Our 72 hour vaparetto pass was good on the bus, so it cost us nothing to get to the airport. Much better than the 100 euros for a private water taxi.

Although the rooms were small they were clean and well supplied with slippers, bath products, stationery, etc. The breakfast was very nice, with fresh fruit, a capuccino machine, and other good things. The price was more than we paid anywhere else in Italy, but that's probably because it's in Venice, which was very crowded due to the Biennale.
