Ai Pini Park Hotel Venice

The desk clerk gave us detailed instructions on how to navigate Murano and Burano without a guide, and how to get to and from Venice proper easily. The hotel is on the mainland, but in a quiet spot with good and fast connections. We particularly enjoyed dinner on our last night. We ate in the quiet garden next to the owner's family. She treated us like one of the family, even helping to serve. She sincerely thanked us for coming and even met us at the desk the next morning. These touches really made the stay excellent.

This wonderful hotel, exceeded out expectations for a 4 star hotel! Not only was it a beautiful villa turned hotel, very clean, amazing rooms and outdoor seating and serving area, flowers everywhere, but the owners and staff treated us like family. Their breakfast was great, we would sit outside in the garden and be served cappuccino and cookies and relax after long days touring Venice. They had a beautiful restaurant in the hotel also, which also went out of their way to just make us a sandwich which was all we wanted when they were in the midst of a grand dinner event. We chose this hotel for our 3 night pre cruise out of Venice. It was in the Mestre area which is actually on the mainland about 20 minutes to the island of Venice and its train station and Vaporetto/water bus system. The Mestre bus system is right in from of the hotel so it took us everywhere quickly and easily to the island of Venice and surrounding islands of Murano. The staff had advised us of the availability of buying these daily passes for this bus and Vaporetto which was unlimited access. We would advise anyone to take advantage of this right at their hotel desk. Much easier that buying them at the docks. The only negative thing we could say about this place was that we had to leave this wonderful villa for our cruise. We could say a lot more but will leave you with this,..... it was Bello!!

Stayed in the hotel to make connection to flight from cruise that disembarked the previous day. Rooms are large & lovely - bathrooms just as beautiful as pix & equipped w/ good quality hair dryer. Gardens are beautiful & peaceful. Hotel staff very friendly & went out of their way to assist us w/ any need. Ate dinner under an umbrella in the garden & enjoyed food a great deal! They make their own pasta on the premises & spice dishes w/ herbs grown in garden. Only drawback is it's not w/in easy walking distance to town of Mestre or Venice - need to use taxis or public transport (stops close by). With that in mind I would highly recommend hotel.

Employees very helpful. We did not know we Needed to leave the room card in the slot on the inside to keep the lights working( then when you leave there is no chance to leave the lights on because you will have the room card. They were quick to solve our dilemma. The restaurant was very good. It was a very short walk to the bus stop take the bus to downtown Venice and back.Downside it cost 45 euros on cab each way to and from airport.

Nice hotel, clean and friendly. Bus was right in front of the hotel and it was easy to reach the island of Venice from here. WE were here for Carnivale and the city was crowded so it was nice to be able to stay in a quiet hotel. Highly recommend.
