Vue D'Or Hotel

The hotel was great. The view was the best overlooking the city of Sorento and the coast line. I would recommend this to anyone.

We loved this hotel Personnel were helpful and friendly Our plane from Milan was cancelled so we missed train/bus connection [...]suggested a car Tomasso picked us up at airport We lived him so much that we booked trip to Amalfi coast with him. He also drove us to Herculean, Naples museum and to the train on our last day. We would highly recommend this hotel and TomassoBob and Virginia Warnsman

What a refreshing and pleasant hotel. The staff is wonderful, the food is great and the service is better than excellent. We were out of the rush and chaos of the City but close enough to enjoy it's amenities. Easy access to other smaller cities and villages along the coast, this was the perfect location. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. And the view from our private patio overlooking the ocean was stellar. Highly recommended!

We loved everything about this hotel. It is exactly as we saw in the pictures on the website, lovely room with beautiful view. The staff are warmly welcoming & very helpful, yet remain professional in excellence of service.Great breakfast! The free minibus ran hourly & on time to & from Sorrento town centre, & there is also a local bus stop a few metres from the hotel. You can buy tickets for it at the hotel reception. This is great value for money & we will certainly stay there again.

Hemos estado en Agosto de 2010 en este hotel. El hotel esta estupendo, tiene una piscina bastante buena con una vista maravillosa sobre el golfo de Napoles, Vesuvio. El desayuno regular, el cafe era malo pero pediamos un cafe expreso y conseguiamos tener un cafe bueno. La localización es apartado del centro de Sorrento pero tiene un bus que nos lleva al centro cada hora. Nosotros teniamos coche pero no lo utilizabamos. Para mi es un hotel altamente recomendable por el precio y por la piscina. Pasabamos el dia fuera pero cuando llegabamos al fin de tarde/noche, viene bien un chapuzon en la piscina y descansar en las tumbonas con vista al mar!!

The place was high on top of the mountain. It had beautiful view of the ocean, great to look out during day and night. The place is classy but also a bit pricey. The breakfast buffet is decent. The pool and sun deck were great amenities. Hotel provides shuttle.

This Hotel has a great view, quiet & restfull, but it is No Where near the center, about an 1hr walk or 20 min car ride. This is great if you are 60 and don't want to see anything and relax. They do offer a complimentary shuttle which is good. Older lady at the front desk is very cold and unwelcoming. Bring your own towels 2 Euro a day rental, 5 Euro a day Baby crib, 26 Euro for dinner, go into town you can find great places to eat. This is like a retreat not a Hotel, but overall you can not take away the view!

Beautiful view of Sorrento. We rented a motorbike which alleviated the need to use the hotels free shuttle service. Great price/value compared to everywhere else we stayed in Italy... would highly recommend this hotel.
