Great place to stay close to the vatican
We rented a 2-bedroom apartment with a complete kitchen. It was very nice and clean. One room had a queen size bed and the other had 2 sofa beds. Everything was very clean and nice. Lory was very helpful. The common guest area was comfortable with internet and a coffee machine.

Try the Insalata Ricca restaurant on the Risorgimento Piazza. Good quality and prices of food.

Steps from Vatcian City and St. Peter's
We had 2 large bedrooms, bathroom and a kitchen. Restaurants, bakeries, groceries were all within close walking distance. We were about a 5-10min walk from a subway stop. There is a room in the hotel with internet machines and an exercise room. Very convenient. Would definitely stay there again. While the location is west of the Tiber River (and not in the heart of Rome), you cannot beat the comfort of the "apartment" we had. The lady at the front desk ([...]?) was very helpful and attentive.

For gelato, the BEST quality (and price) was Old Bridge Gelateria right next to the Vatican.

Great "apartment style" near the Vatican
Large rooms with kitchen. Great for moderate to extended stays. Only three blocks from Vatican City.

Perfect Location!
This hotel was perfect! First, we were very content the size of our room. We had plenty of space for the three of us. Very Very good location. This was a family trip so we had our three year old with us. The location allowed for us to shop at the mini-mart and local fruit stands. We were close to many resturants, tourist attractons, and bus stops. The staff were very helpful and spoke good english. We have no complaints about this hotel. The location was great, staff was friendly, the price was very good and the rooms were a great size. Would recommend if you are traveling with small children!!!

Hop on Hop off buses is a wonderful way to see the highlights of the city! It really saves on time and one can't beat the price.

Great Hotel and GREAT value !
This Hotel has the BEST location for pretty much everything. The Borgo area is prime location and the Hotel and staff were wonderful. Great for families with children, couples etc.....just great I would recommend to all. There isn't a breakfast included BUT.. little places all around. I would stay there again and again and tell everyone about it. Fabulous !

Shopping:
Short walk from hotel
For shopping, St Peter's Basilica, all realigious stores, small dining restaurants for GREAT prices and GREAT food !!!! There is even a little grocery store 1 block from hotel and you can use the kitchen in your room to cook etc. No need though with the cheap and great restaurants at your finger tips. BRAVO ! (beds were great..queen size)
